And, the dhyanas, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, etc., are practiced in a non-referential manner, that is the samadhi of the Bodhisattva, as it is taught. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, preceded by great compassion, for the sake of completely eliminating afflictions, is called dhyana, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, those are the causes for showing to others, that is, the Bodhisattva desires to attain the mind of all-knowingness, and is dominated by great compassion, for the sake of eliminating the afflictions of all sentient beings, dhyana, samadhi, and the formless absorptions, those are shown to others, that is the meaning. Among them, those who speak to others, are called merely speaking the names of dhyana, etc., to others. Explaining, is called explaining the definite words. Showing, is called showing both meaning and words. Explaining, is called explaining in detail the abbreviation of the words and meanings of dhyana, etc. Differentiating, is called separately showing the limbs of dhyana, etc. Making it clear, is called the teacher making it understood in a way that there is no concealment. The taste of those, is called showing the means to abandon attachment to the taste of dhyana, etc. The faults of those, is called if one is attached to the taste of dhyana, etc., then showing the faults of being born in the form realm and the formless realm by the power of those. Arising is also shown as it is, is called showing that these dhyanas, etc., do not refer to the ultimate truth, showing the arising as it is, is for the sake of liberation from clinging to the characteristics of clinging to the taste of those, etc. The four dhyanas, the four immeasurables, and the four formless absorptions, in this case, the order is reversed, and the four immeasurables are first declared, in order to establish the perfection of generosity by the power of love and compassion. When the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is endowed with all-knowingness.

With a mind of complete qualities, even if practicing meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, and abiding in and arising from these, for example, not entering the ground of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, not abandoning other bodhicitta, this is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva's non-degradation of the discipline paramita. The so-called practice of meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, at the same time, also shows the complete accomplishment of the discipline paramita. That is, when practicing meditation and so on, vowing to attain all-knowing wisdom, not generating the thought that Hearers and Solitary Buddhas can attain, the Bodhisattva does not lose the vow, therefore it is the discipline paramita, as shown. Thus, from "The Bodhisattva Mahasattva with a mind of complete all-knowing wisdom" to "This is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva's patience paramita," it shows that while practicing meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, it also completely accomplishes the patience paramita. The so-called arising of patience, faith, understanding, remembrance, and comprehension towards these minds is the mind for attaining all-knowing wisdom, and for the sake of exhausting the afflictions of all sentient beings, the Dharma is taught, thinking and minding in this way, these are the various ways of patience and acceptance. When the Bodhisattva Mahasattva with a mind of complete all-knowing wisdom, practices meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, for the benefit of all sentient beings and all-knowing wisdom, not being lazy in diligence, this is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva's diligence paramita. The so-called practice of meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, at the same time, also shows the complete accomplishment of the diligence paramita.
