Therefore, having completely transcended the sphere of nothingness by not focusing on the birth of the sphere of nothingness, and having approached and abided by not focusing on the birth of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, it is called "nothingness," refuting the view that the thought of "it is nothingness" is also a coarse thought. Because one does not focus on such a coarse thought, it is called "no thought." It is not that all thoughts are completely blocked like in the cessation attainment, but because subtle, signless thoughts arise, it is called "neither perception nor non-perception," meaning to cultivate and abide in such an attainment. The term "by not focusing" means that such an attainment is also merely cultivated for the sake of taming one's mind in the conventional sense, and it is not that one clings to these attainments as real, like the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. The term "by not focusing," although this word is not mentioned in the higher attainments, it should be applied to all attainments because it is stated at the end of all. These are the meditations of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, etc., which are the companions for perfecting the perfection of generosity, summarizing and teaching the cultivation of the four meditations, the four immeasurables, and the four formless absorptions in a non-focusing manner. Like the nature of space, abiding in nature and characteristics, it means that just as space has no nature, nature, and characteristics such as color and shape, likewise, one does not cling to the real nature, nature, and characteristics of these meditations, immeasurables, and formless absorptions, but abides equally. Also, at the time of rising, one completely dedicates to the omniscient wisdom, meaning that at the time of rising from samadhi, one abides in the conventional truth, and the root of virtue of cultivating meditation, immeasurables, and absorptions should also be shared with all sentient beings, and completely dedicated to the omniscient wisdom, which is the union of skillful means and wisdom, and because the three spheres are completely pure, the perfection of generosity is complete.

It shows that it is complete. From "He practices the perfection of discipline," to "This is the perfection of wisdom of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, thus the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva has correctly entered the Great Vehicle," it shows that while accomplishing the perfections of discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom, the practice of meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions are taught. Their meaning is as explained in the context of the perfection of generosity. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva with a loving heart, a vast and extremely broad mind, etc., to "This is the perfection of wisdom of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, this is the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the perfection of wisdom," it shows that while practicing the four immeasurables, the four meditations, and the four formless absorptions, the complete practice of the six perfections is the correct entry into the Great Vehicle, this is the second. Among them, Venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva with a loving heart, a vast and extremely broad mind, etc., to "This is the perfection of generosity of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva," is about meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, etc., I also practice, and also tell others about their nature and qualities, etc., this is Dharma giving, therefore it shows that while practicing meditation, samadhi, and the formless absorptions, the accomplishment of the complete perfection of generosity is taught. The meaning of meditation, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions is as explained above. "This is the samadhi of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva" is so thought.
