The reasoning of cause and effect is that they each produce the difference of the fruit. The reasoning of establishing validity is what meaning is established by what valid cognition. The reasoning of nature is the phenomena determined by their own nature, such as fire burns and water moistens, and so on. Manifesting desire and focusing particularly is to always practice with reverence while sitting in seclusion in the lotus position, this is attention. Likewise, making the mind equal with the nine distinctions of abiding in suchness is measuring. The four ways of distinguishing phenomena and extremely distinguishing, completely distinguishing and completely examining are vipassanā, which is definitely distinguishing. Among them, the knowledge of how much it has become is distinguishing, such as the five aggregates themselves, and so on. The knowledge of how it has become as it is, is extremely distinguishing, such as all these are emptiness, and so on. Completely distinguishing is when non-conceptual mind, together with wisdom, makes a sign. Examining by "this is here" is the nature of the path of meditation. That is nine kinds, namely small, medium, and large. It is also divided into small, etc. As it is said in the treatise, the word "also" is the nine kinds of unfavorable aspects, namely the smallest of the small, the medium of the small, the large of the small, the smallest of the medium, the medium of the medium, the large of the medium. The smallest of the large, the medium of the large, the largest of the large, these exhaust the nine unfavorable aspects by reversing the order, that is, from the largest of the large to the smallest of the small. Also, by the meditation of conceptualization, the conceptualizations of afflictions to be abandoned are, according to their suitability, just as one first washes the coarse dirt on clothes and then washes the fine dirt, so too with the mind. What is said about this is "thus," and so on, according to the order that has been said, what is accomplished is śamatha, close consideration is vipassanā, close realization is both, and complete combination is the effort of śamatha.

By. Effort is the effort of Vipassana. Pursuit is the effort of both. "Utterly joyful will utterly arise" refers to the qualities that make one utterly joyful. Powerless is being unable. Samsara is the continuum of future births. Abandoning is letting go. Turning one's back is not going towards the future. Casting away is abandoning. Ultimate is eliminating the future end and the past end. "Teaching and explaining" means because of teaching through teaching and explaining. Abiding is cutting off doubt with thought. Learning is Samatha. Cultivating is Vipassana. Focusing the mind is by both. Thus, practicing yoga means realizing through meditation. After these were said once, the second saying is: "Those also," etc. Abandoning refers to the smallest of the small path of meditation. Subhuti, thus, etc., particularly superior is because of having much merit. Utterly superior refers to the small medium. Furthermore, etc., giving is without arrogance. Utterly establishing means without clinging in the mind, which refers to the small great. Furthermore, etc., abiding through attention refers to the medium small. Furthermore, etc., refers to the medium medium. Furthermore, etc., refers to the medium great. Furthermore, etc., refers to the great small. Furthermore, etc., refers to the great medium. Whoever perfectly establishes within and is inseparable from the practice of yoga refers to the Prajnaparamita, which is the great great of its path of meditation. Subhuti asked, etc., merit refers to the different conceptions of merit that manifestly accumulate. Here, at the time of the path of meditation, because it does not exist in ultimate truth, it is emptiness, and the emptiness that children do not understand is the same as not understanding itself. Because of being without ownership, it accumulates. Because of being ungraspable, it is empty. Because of being without clinging, it is without essence.

It is not. Thus, and emptiness, etc., refers to the response to refuting the increase of merit. Subhuti's request, etc., the differences are distinct. Cutting off is to make them distinct, those are practicing accordingly, and are the acceptance of those two meanings. Thus, measure is to completely cut off the gross. Number is inexhaustible because it cannot be exhausted by counting. The more superior expression is superior, meaning to express mainly, yet inexhaustible is like the sky. Again, immeasurable is like the sky itself. These dharmas are shown by the explicit words of inexhaustible, immeasurable, and emptiness, etc. These refer to showing with compassion, its explicit saying is that the cause is in accordance. Moreover, what is explained in detail here is, here in the sutra it says: All that is shown as countless, etc., is not tolerable for the ultimate truth, worldly happiness is pure, with loving-kindness, the cause is in accordance, is what the Muni loves. If it is not tolerable, then it is unreasonable, that is, it has refutation. Subhuti's request, etc., because it is not the object of speech, it is unspeakable. The meaning of going to the other shore refers to the nature of emptiness, here in the sutra it says: On the unspeakable object, decline and increase are unreasonable. By the path called meditation, what can be obtained and what can be lost? Therefore, for realization, what is unspeakable has no decline and increase, so how is it enlightenment, etc., what is said, however, refers to like this, etc. He thinks like this, refers to giving with what giving. Those refer to the people who generate bodhicitta, and with the correct people. A small amount refers to again and again, a large amount refers to constantly, here in the sutra it says: How is enlightenment, so is it, that also accomplishes the desired meaning, enlightenment is suchness, that is also the nature of that. Like these and that, refers to the path of meditation. How, by the power of great compassion, with unsurpassed enlightenment, the way of merit and wisdom of those who should be tamed
