And, the complete abandonment of wishes, no birth, no cessation, etc., the nature of reality is completely undisturbed, non-contrived and non-discriminating. In the very nature of complete distinction without characteristics, through the context of the wisdom of the path, it is the collection of the characteristics of knowledge. As stated in the treatise, the knowledge of the wisdom of the path is the cause, and what knowledge relies on is intention. What is said about this is, "Then again, the lord of the gods, Indra," and so on. Dharma is knowledge. Here, the knowledges state the other object of their focus. By explaining that, one can also realize it. For emptiness and so on, the singular word is because the object of focus is the same. "Characteristics," etc., is a plural word, because the characteristics are distinguished as different. "Establishment" means to separately establish. From the perspective of worldly convention, it does not exist in ultimate truth. This refers to emptiness, as well as the knowledge of the liberation gate of no characteristics and no wishes. The eight, such as no birth, are combined into one, because it is only emptiness. Emptiness is the very nature of no self-nature. For no self-nature, will emptiness arise? Will it cease? Will it be completely defiled? Or will there be complete purification? It does not exist, and there is no existence itself, which is nirvana. Emptiness is the realm of dharma, because it is the cause of the dharmas of the noble ones. It is always thus, therefore it is suchness, because it is unchanging. How are impermanence, suffering, and emptiness, etc., not so? Writing, why is that? Because it does not abide and is like space, even if summarized, it is not established. It is not by the number of form, etc., nor by the characteristics of form, etc., because form, etc., do not exist by themselves, so there are no characteristics of form, etc., in them either. Impermanence and suffering, etc., are not the self-nature of form, etc., because they do not depend on it to exist, so they do not exist as such, because they are completely conjectured by children, so they are ungraspable. This refers to the knowledge of no birth and no cessation. These are not established, etc.
