The antidote to discordant factors, the antidote to discordant factors on the path of meditation, uninterrupted samadhi, and wrong views. Among these, in terms of signs, the scriptures say: "Even in dreams, all dharmas, such as viewing them as dreams, the yogas that have reached the peak, are considered to be twelve types." The so-called "peak" is reaching the ultimate. The so-called "yoga" is the yoga of omniscient wisdom. Also, from "Subhuti, if" to "should be known," the so-called "in dreams" is seeing all dharmas as dreamlike. The so-called "not manifest" is the first sign. Furthermore, from "Subhuti" to "should know its nature," the so-called "in dreams," one does not desire the Hearer's ground, the Solitary Buddha's ground, or the three realms; this is the second. Furthermore, from "Subhuti" to "should know its nature," the so-called "in dreams," being completely surrounded by a great retinue of both Sanghas, and seeing oneself as the Tathagata, this is the third. Furthermore, from "Subhuti" to "should know its nature," even in dreams, one manifestly ascends into the sky, teaches the Dharma to sentient beings, performs the deeds of a Buddha in other world realms, emanates monks, and knows oneself to be the Tathagata; this is the fourth. Furthermore, from "furthermore" to "should be known," even in dreams, seeing oneself or others being killed, bound, beheaded, etc., one does not become afraid, and upon awakening, one thinks, "These three realms are like dreams; after I have attained complete perfect enlightenment, I shall teach such a Dharma"; this is the fifth. Furthermore, from "Subhuti" to "should be known," even in dreams, seeing sentient beings in hells, etc., one thinks, "From here, in the Buddha-field where I attain complete perfect Buddhahood, all the evil destinies will be"

Thus arising is the sixth. Furthermore, what is said from "Subhuti" to "should know" is that if one sees a village being destroyed in a dream, upon waking, one should think: How did I see the characteristics of the sign of non-retrogression in the dream? By this truth, may the destruction of the village and so on be pacified. If it is pacified, that is the seventh sign. Furthermore, what is said from "Subhuti" to the end of the chapter is that if a certain sentient being is seized and oppressed by a non-human, it is because it has entered internally. To this, the blessing of the Bodhisattva is that if I was previously prophesied by the Buddhas to attain unsurpassed Bodhi, and I manifest perfect enlightenment, and my superior intention is completely pure, and the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have no slightest ignorance, by this truth, may this non-human depart. If it departs through the blessing of truth, that is the eighth sign. The examination of skillful means is complete knowledge. The chapter of its meaning is the chapter. The commentary on the difficult points of the Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita, the Essence of the Heart, composed by the teacher Shantarakshita, is the twentieth chapter. Again, from "Subhuti, in this" and so on, is the chapter of the deeds of Mara, that is, the twenty-first chapter. What is the occasion for these? When a Bodhisattva who has newly entered the Mahayana is accomplishing the fruit through the blessing of truth, many Maras who generate perverse pride will arise. This refers to this situation. The "in this" refers to the blessing that was just taught. "Diligence" refers to the nature of Mara, being enthusiastic for that purpose. "Strength" refers to enthusiasm and ability. "Splendor" refers to the power of strength. "Diligence" refers to many self-conceits. "Contempt" and so on, "contempt" refers to disrespect. "Mockery" refers to laughing from the heart. "Disdain" refers to despising with the mind. "Slander" refers to seeing as base. "Degrading" refers to pointing out faults. "Prophecy"
