Thus it was said. Because it is the occasion of innumerable, immeasurable, and limitless, therefore, the venerable Subhuti asked: What are the differences between these respectively? The Blessed One replied: That which cannot be measured, up to that point, the differences of definitive terms have been spoken. From here onwards, with three questions and answers, by the name of emptiness, all phenomena are inexhaustible, innumerable, immeasurable, and limitless. It should be understood in this way, therefore, the venerable Subhuti asked: Therefore, the meaning and the letters are different. The meaning is non-existent, because emptiness has no difference. The letters are non-existent, because the meaning has no difference. With just this, the debater has been completely refuted. The Blessed One said: Yes, yes, and so on, until nirvana. The so-called "Thus it is" is acceptance, meaning the ultimate truth. The so-called speaking from the unspeakable is because although the meaning has no difference, it is spoken through the path of difference. The answer to the debater is saying inexhaustible and so on. By showing this, it is showing, that is, compassion. The similar cause for this is explanation, that is, inexhaustible and so on, meaning conventional truth. How is that? Because the distinctions are different. Therefore, it is said in the treatise: Innumerable etc. displays, Are not tolerated in the ultimate sense, Conventional those compassionate ones, The Sage allows according to the cause. For the unspeakable object, Decrease and increase are not appropriate. By the path of meditation, What is decreased and what is gained? Thus it is said, the so-called for the unspeakable, is for the un-speakable. Therefore, through the path of meditation, what is decreased and what is increased, this is the debater, asking. The Blessed One and so on, in order to accomplish the meaning of manifesting perfect complete enlightenment. The so-called "this" refers to the meditation that was spoken. Just like enlightenment, This is the meaning to be attained.

Oṃ. This, so-called, is the path of meditation. This alone is the answer. From what the Bhagavan said, to all that was said between "dedicating in the same way." Thus it is said: "The nature of enlightenment is suchness, that too is established as its nature." This means that seeing only suchness in a way that is without increase or decrease is actually the nature of enlightenment. Question: From "Bhagavan" etc., to all that was said between "one should practice the Perfection of Wisdom." The mind is not enlightened by the former, nor is it by the latter, which is not of the lineage. A collection is also not capable, because there is no encounter. Nor is it one by one, because even the first mind can attain enlightenment, so the latter would become a pointless fault. This is a refutation. Question: From "Bhagavan" etc., to all that was said between "cannot fully awaken." The example of the lamp should be connected to "will become enlightened." This alone is the answer. From what the Bhagavan said, to all that was said between "dependent origination is profound." What then is the complete nature of enlightenment? The eight aspects of profound dharmata should be connected to "enlightenment." What are the eight profundities of dharmata? That which is made manifest is enlightenment. What are the eight? Birth and cessation, suchness and knowable, knowledge and conduct and non-duality, and skillful means are profound. This is said, non-duality and skillful means are classified as a pair that is primarily a collection. Cessation by stopping the continuum of mind, also unborn, so-called unborn is profound. From what the Bhagavan said, to all that was said between "Bhagavan, that is not so." Likewise, cessation and the nature of cessation will not become cessation, so-called cessation is profound. From what the Bhagavan said, to "Bhagavan, that is not so."

Everything spoken from "Saso" to the interval. Because the continuum of conceptualization ceases, the mind ceases, which is the nature of non-proliferation. The mind that abides in suchness as it is, is correct at that time. But it is not the limit of correctness, which is called the profoundness of suchness. From what the Blessed One said, to what was said between the Blessed One and the profound. Suchness is as it is, the nature of the mind is not unreal, because it is the nature of extreme clarity. The mind is also not other than suchness, because of clarity and non-difference. It should be known that suchness will become clear, that is the only thing, which is called the profoundness of knowable objects. From what the Blessed One said, everything that was said through the two ways of questioning and answering. Suchness is also not seen by suchness, because it is the nature of unreality, which is called profound knowledge. From what the Blessed One said, everything that was said through questions and answers. Therefore, understanding the suchness of all dharmas is bodhi, and whatever conduct is like that is conduct towards the Blessed Mother, and whoever conducts towards that does not conduct towards anything, which is called profound conduct. From what the Blessed One said, to everything that was said between not conducting towards anything. Whoever practices it practices the ultimate truth of non-duality and has no attachment to characteristics, which is called the profoundness of non-duality. From what the Blessed One said, everything that was said through questions and answers. When powers and fearlessness, etc., are not completely fulfilled, all dharmas abide in emptiness, and enter into the three samadhis, thereby completely maturing sentient beings, which is called the profoundness of skillful means. From what the Blessed One said, to everything that was said between making completely mature. These are the eight kinds of profoundness that are shown. After showing the assembly of learners who do not turn back, in the stage of the path of meditation, samsara and nirvana are equal.
