Now, in order to explain the complete purification of the Buddha-field and skillful means, therefore, the sutra places samsara and nirvana in the state of equality. From "Then, the venerable son of Sharadvati" to "There will also be meditation." The meaning is: Because all dharmas are like dreams, there is no distinction between existence and peace. Here, the words "in a dream" and "in the daytime" are used to express samsara and nirvana, because the nature of dharma is the same. At that time, the Bodhisattva also does not distinguish this because all dharmas are like dreams, that is, there is no difference in thought, but sees it as equality. For the accusations of "no karma" and so on, the answer is as mentioned before. It means that even if all dharmas are like dreams, there will be rebuttals such as "no karma." The answer to these rebuttals is also as stated in the sutra, that is, saying: "The venerable Subhuti" to "I will realize the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment without hindrance." Here, if the widely known dreams and waking states in the world are taken as examples, if all dharmas are like dreams, then why do acts such as giving and harming in dreams not become merit and sin, because they are not accumulated? Similarly, it will not become merit and sin when awake, this is the rebuttal. After killing sentient beings in a dream and waking up, 'Aima, I killed! I killed! I killed well!' If you distinguish it like this, will it cause sin?", and ask again. The answer is: "It only arises from one's own object, but not without an object." If the distinction of waking, because the behavior in the dream has an object, there is a result, then when not asleep, the distinction of not sleeping also has a result because it has an object, and it is very fruitful, this is just the answer. Didn't the Blessed One say that all mental phenomena are empty? Then why do you say that it arises from having an object?", this is another rebuttal.

It is with characteristics that there is focus, but in ultimate reality, it is not, that is the answer. Having said, such as to the venerable Subhuti and others. The word "in a dream" here does not hold onto characteristics, because it accords with the Dharma, it shows the way of non-focusing. If one dwells in non-focusing and cultivates the six perfections, and dedicates it to Bodhi, then what would one dedicate? Understanding the word "what" is the argument of one who understands non-existence. The nature of reaching the ultimate of non-focusing, the way of non-focusing of perfect complete enlightenment, is the main method, so to counteract focusing, the way of non-focusing is like a dream, and the answer is given in an implied way. The noble Subhuti said that Maitreya is the ultimate of attaining non-focusing, so please ask about this meaning. After asking, he also answered extensively about non-focusing in an implied way. The words of the noble Maitreya, the Blessed One also taught, that is, isn't a dream also non-focusing because it is non-conceptual? If asked, a dream is not empty of concepts, although it is non-conceptual, but because it is not the antidote to concepts, it is said to be like a dream, this is the answer to the refutation. Buddha-field In the power of complete purification. Likewise, the sentient world, The impure container world, By accomplishing purity in it, The Buddha-field is pure. Thus it is said, the Buddha-field is the sentient beings and the container world, therefore, taming them is their purification. From what is it? The nature of the sentient world, such as hunger, thirst, and suffering, is impure. Having seen that, sentient beings, They accomplish the purification of the sentient world of their own Buddha-field, these faults of the sentient beings of the Buddha-field, all do not arise, and the enjoyment of heavenly pleasures and other transformations, now they practice the six perfections in this way. Similarly, the impurity of the container world, such as garbage and dung heaps, etc.
