It is because of following accordingly. Therefore, with the single word "exists," one does not keep in mind the characteristic of attainment through seeing, which is the manifestation of the fruit of entering the stream. It is taught by the words between "sharp faculties, skillful in means." The initial establishment is to indicate that because of dull faculties, this very faith-based devotion is contrary to skillful means. The afflictions to be abandoned by seeing, and the abandonment that is not known by the afflicted, are the fruit of entering the stream. To manifest it is to attain it. Not keeping it in mind is because one does not fixate in such a way, thinking, "I will attain this." Liberation through increased faith is faith-based devotion. From here onwards, what is attained through seeing is to be explained, before birth from lineage to lineage. Seeing is wisdom, and attaining the fruit of entering the stream through it is called attainment through seeing. Its characteristic was previously indicated, as it is incidental. Its divisions are also sixfold, and the six are exemplified by the words from "exists" to "bound by one lifetime." Attainment through seeing was previously indicated, and that itself is indicated as the main cause of enlightenment. Why? Because through attainment through seeing alone, those (Bodhisattvas) will quickly reach completion. Among them, the first is explained by the first word adorned with the four Buddhas of the Good Kalpa's thousand Buddhas. Furthermore, becoming the final existence in other different Buddha-fields is explained by the second word. The other four words are about dying and transmigrating from Tushita to those Buddha-fields, in order, going to where to make offerings to the Buddha Bhagavan, and where there is no establishment of the Hearer and Solitary Realizer vehicles, and where there is immeasurable life, and where one goes without hearing the sound of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. From "to ripen sentient beings" to there, it indicates birth from human lineage to lineage. Up to "should be prayed to" here, it indicates birth from divine lineage to lineage. From "should be known" to there, it speaks of obstacles.

One has been explained, one rebirth as an interval, that is one obstacle. An obstacle is what cuts off reaching Nirvana. Then, between "manifestly attaining complete enlightenment, benefiting sentient beings," it explains attaining Nirvana in the intermediate state. "There" means here the Akanishta heaven, not Jambudvipa. Therefore, it explains attaining complete Nirvana in the intermediate state. Then, between "the sacred Dharma will abide," it explains attaining complete Nirvana after birth. "Kalpa" here should be understood as an intermediate kalpa. One side of it exceeds one kalpa. "At the very moment of first generating the mind" means from Akanishta to Tushita, from Tushita descending to Jambudvipa, resolutely renouncing household life, sitting in vajra posture under the Bodhi tree, and immediately first generating the mind of enlightenment, that is considered their generation of the mind. Being born from that is Nirvana with remainder, that is, attaining Nirvana after birth. Then, between "manifestly attaining complete perfect enlightenment," it explains complete Nirvana with effort. Complete Nirvana with effort is here striving to benefit sentient beings. Then, between "manifestly attaining complete enlightenment," it explains complete Nirvana without effort. Here, due to the difference in lineage, manifestly attaining complete enlightenment extremely quickly with little effort is complete Nirvana without effort. Then, again between "manifestly attaining complete enlightenment," it explains going to the end of Akanishta. Then, again between "manifestly attaining complete enlightenment," it explains increase. Then, again between "manifestly attaining complete enlightenment," it explains increasing by half. Then, again between "manifestly attaining complete enlightenment," it explains death and transference in all states. Thus, it explains three ways. Then, again born
