Even if the substance of the person is not observed, the afflictive obscurations will be exhausted, but not the obscurations to knowledge, this is called the fleeting conceptualization. The five gathered within the sixth, because the sixth has the same nature as them, therefore the other shore will be attained, therefore they are inseparable from the sixth, and if there is no sixth, they will be separate, this is called the conceptualization of multiplicity. For example, the host of the wheel-turning king's army does not go and stay without the going and staying of the precious wheel, because they themselves do not know. Likewise, the sixth, because it is all-knowing, if it goes and stays in that very place, the five will follow the sixth, and if there is no sixth, they will not follow, this is called the conceptualization of bewilderment about staying and going. Like someone with eyes, the sixth, because it is all-knowing, goes first, but later like a blind person, the five will be led, and if there is no sixth, they will not go, this is called the conceptualization of following after, because the result is closely connected to the cause. This is the second kind of apprehended conceptualization, there are nine kinds. What are the nine kinds of the first kind of grasping conceptualization? Grasping and separately abandoning, attention and the elements, all three are closely related, abiding and manifest clinging, designation as an object of dharma, attachment and antidote, and going and decaying as desired, know that this is the first grasping. It is said that grasping onto the nine dharmas such as grasping and separately abandoning, the conceptualization of grasping onto substance is the nine grasping conceptualizations. These are also the dharmas of ordinary beings because they have been abandoned by the noble ones. Their antidote, as it is in the sutra, is the sixth, which is non-conceptualization. To that, the question: Blessed One, etc., up to the point of not grasping and not abandoning, is the conceptualization of grasping and abandoning, and is said to be with the side of the antidote. The question: Blessed One, etc., up to the point of attaining enlightenment, is the attention of

The last is discrimination. Question: Blessed One, from "Blessed One" to "should not be mixed with any dharma," is the discrimination related to all three realms. Question: Blessed One, from "Blessed One" to "will not abide," is the discrimination of abiding. Question: Blessed One, from "Blessed One" to "practicing the Perfection of Wisdom," is the discrimination of manifest attachment. If again from "If" to "that is not abiding," is the discrimination of nominally establishing as real. From "Thereafter, the venerable" to "is conduct," is the discrimination of attachment. Question: Blessed One, from "Blessed One" to "will abide," is the discrimination of antidote. Subhuti, for example, from "Subhuti, like this" to "abide therein," is the discrimination of falling away from going as desired. This is the first apprehending discrimination of nine aspects. What are the nine aspects of the second apprehending discrimination? Intentionally, definitely not arising, etc., path and non-path without definite apprehension, birth with cessation, with reality and without reality, place and lineage are apprehension, for benefit and without cause, outsiders and objects, are other apprehending discriminations. Thus it is said, not focusing on the apprehension that exists nominally, this is the sixth. The absence of that is like the deed done, thus definitely not arising, etc., there are nine faults, this is the ninth discrimination. These are also not the dharma of ordinary beings, because they have it from the beginning. If so, whose dharma is it? It is the dharma of noble hearers and solitary Buddhas, because they have not abandoned it. As the sutra says, their antidote is the sixth, because it definitely arises in the Bodhi of the Buddha, the sixth is the rudder of the five, if there is no sixth, then it will arise in the inferior Bodhi, this is the discrimination of definitely not arising like the deed done, Subhuti, this
