Therefore, in order to lead all beings to complete Nirvana, one should study the Prajnaparamita, as has been explained up to this point. The vast altruistic intention has been explained by the words "miserly person" and so on. In this definition of generating the mind, the term "Bodhisattva Mahasattva," the Bodhisattva Mahasattva itself here is the meaning famous in terms of lineage. Thus, after stating the definition of generating the mind as in the sutra, a detailed distinction is made. That is: earth, gold, moon, fire, treasure and jewels, source, ocean, vajra, mountain, medicine, spiritual friend, wish-fulfilling jewel, sun, song, king, treasury and great road, vehicle, adorned water, and melodious sound, river, clouds, etc., there are twenty-two types. So it is said. Among them, the three words vajra, mountain, and medicine show the third word. The four words spiritual friend, wish-fulfilling jewel, sun, and song show the plural form of the third word. Extracting the word "similar" from within, at the end of the six words is the third type of connection. Its meaning is: that is, there are twenty-two types of generating the mind, such as being similar to earth, gold, moon, etc. The verses here are: intention, action, and superior intention, six perfections, immeasurables, supernormal knowledges, four means of gathering, individual wisdom, teaching the Dharma, sangha, aspects of enlightenment, tranquility and so on, the teaching of Dharani and other Dharma scriptures, the one vehicle path and skillful means. So it is said. Other than the initial generation of the mind, the others are in accordance with these companions in order. In the Noble Inexhaustible Intellect Sutra, eighty inexhaustibles are taught. That is, explained by the twenty-two types of generating the mind, so the wise say. Thus, the initial inexhaustible generation of the mind is called inexhaustible generation of the mind. The remaining inexhaustible generation of the mind is not singular, but rather is called inexhaustible together with companions such as intention and action. Time, wealth, ocean, hand, thirty-seven, hand and foot, ocean, with the difference of two tens, are those hundred and ten inexhaustibles. Among them, the initial generation of the mind is similar to earth, and to all the Buddha's Dharmas.

That is for the sake of becoming the basis for the increase of its retinue. It is said from "Also, another" to "should be established." Among these, the term "Bodhisattva" means wanting to fully and completely awaken to all the dharmas that abide in the lineage, that is, wanting true and complete enlightenment. The term "Great Hero" means wanting great benefit for others. This itself is the general characteristic, the first being the characteristic of being without companions. The remainder is the characteristic of having companions. Among these, the terms Bodhisattva, Hero, etc., indicate the general characteristic. The aspiration, etc., indicate the companions. Having aspiration is like pure gold, because it does not depend on change. This is also explained through "Thus," etc. "Thus" means as it will be explained. From abiding, it means abiding with the aspiration of the nature of purity and intention. The way of not abiding means not abiding and the ability to abide, and not focusing on the place of abiding. Having application is like the waxing moon, because virtuous dharmas will increase. This is also explained through "Thus," etc. "Thus" means the order of what is said. Abiding means abiding on the object of focus. The waxing moon is the collection of all white dharmas from the mindfulness, etc., up to the great equanimity. Application means familiarity. That is, arising and increasing, like the waxing moon. In order to be able to distinguish, aspiration is the higher intention. Having it is like fire, and from then on, it becomes different like fire because of the difference in wood. This is also explained through "Omniscience," etc. Here also, because wanting special dharmas, it indicates the higher intention. After that, the six aspirations having the six perfections should be declared. Therefore, their characteristics should be declared in five ways: lineage nature, aspiration nature, aspiration nature, thing nature, self-nature. Among these, lineage is the nature of dharma, the nature of dharma of any Bodhisattva.
