Those three are gradual realizations. In an instant, one attains complete enlightenment. In terms of characteristics, there are four types. Namely, "all dharmas are without outflows, realized in a single instant; all dharmas are virtuous, realized in a single instant; all dharmas are without characteristics, realized in a single instant; all dharmas are non-dual, realized in a single instant," these four are realized in a single instant. The nature body together with the enjoyment body, likewise the emanation and the three aspects, the Dharma body together with the activity, the four aspects are truly spoken. Namely, "the nature body, the complete enjoyment body, the emanation body, and its activity," these four things are the Dharma body. Extensive explanation of the branches. Chapter One: Commentary on the Omniscient One. Among these, first, the Omniscient One is to be explained, and first among these is what is called the entity of generating the mind [of enlightenment]. Mind is intention and desire, such as wanting to go, the intention to go, and the mind to go, so it is said. Generating it is also generating it for the sake of others, because it is an extremely special difference. Focusing on perfect and complete enlightenment. Therefore, its characteristic is: the arising of the mind is for the sake of others, desiring perfect and complete enlightenment. It is said that desire, faith, and aspiration are synonyms. Whoever has the desire for perfect and complete enlightenment is called that. Its entity is this very thing, the meaning of desiring that. What has changed from oneself to another is the other, all sentient beings. The meaning of those is benefit, up to the utterly complete cessation of suffering, up to unsurpassed enlightenment. Therefore, it is for that meaning or for that purpose. Thus, it is shown that it is for the sake of others, the desire that focuses on perfect and complete enlightenment is the characteristic of generating the mind [of enlightenment]. That and that, as in the sutras, are spoken of in terms of brevity and extensiveness. What is called "as in the sutras"

Just like this Perfection of Wisdom, not deviating from that Sutra, this is the meaning of what is called nature. If that Sutra abandons the initial discussion and explains the nature of generating the mind with four types of explanations, and also divides self-benefit and other-benefit into many aspects, stating that it is a nature that does not intentionally focus on the extremely numerous. Then, isn't this not like the Sutra? Therefore, it is said: "That and that, like the Sutra, are expressed through the gates of brevity and elaboration." In the Sutra, "that and" refers to perfect enlightenment, which is explained in the first two sentences through the gates of brevity and elaboration. "That is" refers to other-benefit, which is explained in the latter two sentences through the gates of brevity and elaboration. The Sutra also implicitly teaches for the sake of other-benefit, because one desires enlightenment for the sake of other-benefit, not for the sake of self-benefit. The treatise also implicitly teaches the desire for other-benefit, because what is not desired will not become intentional. Therefore, the nature of the treatise is just like the Sutra. Among them, the abbreviation of perfect enlightenment is the abandonment of the initial discussion, from "At that time, the Bhagavan" to "Those who wish to attain Buddhahood should diligently practice the Perfection of Wisdom." The elaboration is from "Thus" to "the activity of perfecting the Perfection of Generosity." The Sutra not only teaches the nature of generating the mind, but also teaches the means of self-benefit and other-benefit. Among them, self-benefit is perfect enlightenment, and other-benefit is the benefit of all sentient beings. Their means is to engage in the yoga of the Perfection of Wisdom, because without it, they will not be accomplished. That perfect enlightenment is taught through the gates of Sutra and elaboration. Other-benefit is also taught as other-benefit itself through the gates of Sutra and elaboration, the abbreviation of other-benefit is from "Other" to "the realm of Nirvana without remainder"
