It has been shown where it is accomplished. Therefore, it is said, "A Bodhisattva thus practices," and so on. After those brief statements, Śāriputra, either individually or together, repeated and asked the reasons in order. Among those asked individually are the first, second, eleventh, and twelfth. The third and fourth are together. The fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth are also together. After these, he repeated and asked individually in order. Subhūti extensively answered the twelve questions. The first of these is the absence of sentient beings. Venerable one, your saying "also" to anything is first repeating all the second questions and so on, and finally summarizing. What is said at the end of the extensive answer to the twelfth is "practicing in the Prajñāpāramitā." Therefore, practicing in this way is the realization that follows the Dharma, which is not focusing on form and so on, not abiding in form and so on, not making manifest attachment, and not making bondage. Those meanings cannot be known in order by self-awareness, because there is no self-nature. It is not apparent, because there is no grasper and grasped, therefore it is not apparent. It is not realized by the ultimate truth, it is not discriminated merely by discrimination. Those aspects, such as "that form," have been stated. Why is it not known? Because it is nonexistent, unborn, and unceasing. Whatever is "form," and so on, and "those are counted as non-dual" have been stated, referring to the form and so on of the nature of Dharma. That is the definite arising of attainment. Because it is to be spoken by the Omniscient One, therefore Śāriputra asked, "What is a Bodhisattva? What is Prajñāpāramitā? What is complete investigation?" This is thinking about what those three are like for the Omniscient One. Subhūti answered

Furthermore, it is said that a being with the nature of enlightenment is a Bodhisattva. Enlightenment also knows the nature of all phenomena, but does not cling to it. Such as the form of the Dharma, etc. What is meant by "in what way," etc., the term "way" refers to instruction. The term "mark" refers to name and symbol. The term "characteristic" refers to self-nature. Separated and long gone, therefore it is called Prajnaparamita, which is to abandon all that should be abandoned, it is separation, that is, not possessing. Gone, therefore it is gone, that is, the meaning of transcendence that should be practiced. Going to the other shore and having gone, therefore it is long gone, therefore this is Prajnaparamita. How to thoroughly contemplate, that is, to contemplate what form is impermanent, what is not impermanent, and so on. When the definite arising of the path is to be proclaimed, Shariputra, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva purify the path to enlightenment when practicing the six perfections? In the exposition, "Venerable" etc. are mentioned, which is easy to understand. These are the eight kinds of practices of definite arising. It is also the perfection of all omniscience. Here, first, the generation of the mind is indicated, because it is the seed of perfect enlightenment. Then there is the instruction, because first of all, these ten things that should be completely known must be completely known. Then there are the things that are in accordance with the division of definite arising, because this is the application of the transcendental path. Then there is the support, which is the support of practice, because the clinging to self is abandoned. Then there is the object, because ignorance of it is abandoned. Then there is the purpose, because the evil purpose is abandoned, and in order to know the self-nature of the correct purpose. Then there are four kinds of practices. Among them, the practice that can cut off all obstacles is the practice of the six armors. The practice that can ascend to the Mahayana is the practice of the nine entrances. The practice that can obtain the ultimate cause is the practice of the seventeen accumulations. Can obtain the fruit

The ultimate suppression is the eight accomplishments that necessarily arise. Therefore, these four are accomplishments. If divided in detail, the number will become forty. The commentary on the Ornament for Clear Realization, named "Possessing the Qualities," composed by Ratnakara Shanti, is the first chapter on the All-Knowingness. // Chapter Two: Commentary on the Knowledge of the Path. In order to explain the Knowledge of the Path, it is not appropriate to explain to those who are not prepared, because being prepared itself is the mind of enlightenment. Therefore, first, from "Among the distinguished dharmas" to "those that should be particularly focused on," the generation of the mind is taught. That is: For the sake of making the gods ready, shining with light, and the determination and pervasiveness of the place, the nature and its activity. These are mentioned, and "it is said" is the remaining part. "The gods" refers to the assembly of gods. Why is it said "for the sake of making ready"? Because the Bhagavan knows that he has subdued the entire world, therefore, he generates the mind for that thing. From "Kaushika, from that" and so on, it is the division of sections. Therefore, those who have not generated the mind of enlightenment should generate the mind, which is generating for the sake of making ready. "Light" refers to the light of the Buddha. "Shining" means making it without splendor. And "any" refers to the determination of the place, because the Shravakas, the peaceful ones, do not generate in one direction. However, from "however" and so on, it is inconceivable, because even the Shravakas who have completely transformed into enlightenment generate it. From "In the aspect of virtue, I" and so on, it is like pus, the aspect of virtue is virtuous dharma. "Distinguished" means correctly grasping the mind of enlightenment. "Extremely distinguished" means correctly grasping the Mahayana, that is the activity. Regarding the aspect of the Knowledge of the Path: Through the gate of not observing the aspects of the Four Noble Truths, this Shravaka path should be known. Among them, "first" is the remaining part.
