Son, thus were spoken the dependent arising and so forth. Then, as an antidote to the conceptualizations for the sake of my clinging to the basis of detachment from desire, thus were spoken what is the first dhyana and so forth. Then, as an antidote to the conceptualizations for the sake of my clinging to the path of seeing, thus were spoken what are the noble truths and so forth. Then, as an antidote to the conceptualizations for the sake of my clinging to the path of meditation, thus were spoken what are the eight liberations and so forth. Then, as an antidote to the conceptualizations for the sake of my clinging to the ultimate basis, thus were spoken what are the ten powers and so forth. These are the first nine conceptualizations of clinging. They are established because of the nature of illusion. Among them, the conceptualization established at the beginning, thus it was spoken until "Bhagavan, it is not so." Then, the conceptualization that is established on the sense bases, thus it was spoken until "Bhagavan, it is not so." Then, the conceptualization established on the elements, thus it was spoken until "Illusion itself is the element of consciousness." Then, the conceptualization established on dependent arising, thus it was spoken until "Illusion itself is old age and death." Then, the conceptualization established on purification, thus it was spoken until "Bhagavan, it is not so." Then, the conceptualization established on the path of seeing, thus it was spoken until "Bhagavan, it is not so." Then, the conceptualization established on the path of meditation, thus it was spoken until "Bhagavan, it is not so." Then, the conceptualization established on the path of distinction, thus it was spoken until "Bhagavan, it is not so." Then, the conceptualization established on the path of no more learning, thus it was spoken until "One will attain omniscience itself." These are the second nine conceptualizations of clinging. Having explained the connection between conceptualization and reality, from the perspective of truly and completely holding, the mind not turning back and so forth, showing emptiness of nature and so forth, abandoning the opposing aspects, is the complete holding in all aspects. Thus it is said, fear itself is small, medium, and large.

How does it become fear, trembling, and extreme trembling in sequence? As an antidote to that, one does not retreat, does not truly retreat, does not retreat and does not change. Why? Because that which changes from not retreating in mind, etc., from what, that is called skillful in means, meaning skillful in method. That which is without intrinsic nature means all phenomena are without intrinsic nature. "Etc." refers to contemplating all-knowingness and dedicating, etc. That which shows it means that which explains, meaning the virtuous friend. Its opposing factors are unskillful in means and evil friends. Abandoning its opposing factors means completely abandoning. What are the four? They are all ways, meaning all. That which is truly upheld, truly upholding, means that there are no opposing factors from internal and external guides, etc. The sutra in the context of these is what is spoken from "Then, the venerable Subhuti" etc., up to "Subhuti said." That which separately and definitively shows them is led by "Subhuti said," with a continuum of four aspects, between knowing and completely abandoning. After showing the four branches of definitive discrimination, the basis for accomplishment should also be stated, which is also the lineage of enlightenment. That also: "The phenomena of discrimination are six, antidote and elimination, those completely extinguished, wisdom and compassion possessed, disciple's uncommonness, the order of benefiting others, wisdom without effort, the basis for entering is called lineage." Thus it is said. From accomplishment, entry, gathering, and definite arising, from here onwards, its basis, object, and purpose are explained. Among them, "lineage" refers to the lineage of enlightenment in this context, corresponding to the aspect of definitive discrimination, and the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. The phenomena of realization are six. Therefore, what is the basis of the thirteen, such as warmth? It is the one who dwells extremely well. That basis is the Bodhi.

of lineage, for the sake of truly accomplishing enlightenment with these. Whatever is the lineage of enlightenment is the basis of these, for those without lineage and inferior lineage are not the basis of these. "Going" means engaging in going and dwelling. "Here" it is entering because of dwelling, meaning dependence, just as space is said to be the goer of all. Protecting by holding in an unwavering manner, therefore lineage is the basis. Therefore, from the chapter on the lineage of enlightenment, Subhuti asked, the Blessed One said Bodhisattva Bodhisattva, Blessed One, what is the meaning of the word Bodhisattva? Whatever Bodhisattva is called, the being who relies on enlightenment is called Bodhisattva, therefore it is called Bodhisattva. Therefore, the word Bodhisattva is the word for the being who relies on enlightenment. What is the meaning of the word means what is said, it is asking what are the six self-arising places. The Blessed One taught, Subhuti, the meaning of the word Bodhisattva is without the meaning of the word, Subhuti, the meaning of the word Bodhisattva, the nature of self and the six places is the meaning of the word, because it appears as the meaning of the word. Without the meaning of the word is the meaning of the word. The substance of the six places of the nature of others' independence, among which the nature of imputation, those are not there. The Dharma nature of those, emptiness, the realm of Dharma, here is the meaning of the word Bodhisattva, is the concluding word. Then, becoming the basis of some things, that is like a birch bark container. Non-things are non-things, so how can that become the basis of enlightenment? If you think, then why, etc., he taught like this. What is born and exists from the base is a thing, and its base turns into a thing, like grain and a birch bark container. Enlightenment has no birth, nor existence, nor non-existence, nor to be accomplished, nor object of focus, like this, the Dharma realm is without all obscurations
