That which is called "Transformation" is the ninth kind of reverence. Whoever places the beings of Jambudvipa in the fruit of once-returner, this is called the first praise. Placing them in the fruit of non-returner, this is the second. Whoever places the beings of the world realms, as many as the sands of the Ganges River in each of the ten directions, in the state of Arhat, is surpassed by whoever speaks of this matter to others, making it meaningful and literate, up to the exhortation to "Strive diligently!" This accumulates even more merit than the former, and is called the third praise. Whoever places beings from the ten directions in the Bodhi of a Pratyekabuddha, up to..., and whoever extensively speaks of meaningful and literate content to those who seek this meaning, up to the exhortation to "Strive diligently!", this accumulates even more merit than the former, and is called the fourth praise. Whoever encourages all beings of Jambudvipa to attain perfect and complete enlightenment, is surpassed by whoever speaks of this matter, making it meaningful and literate, up to the exhortation to "Strive diligently!" The more one strives diligently, the closer one becomes to perfect and complete enlightenment, and this is called the fifth praise. That which is called "all beings of the four continents" is the sixth. That which is called "thousand worlds" is the seventh. Whoever encourages perfect and complete enlightenment from the ten directions, up to..., this is the eighth. Whoever places beings from the ten directions in the irreversible stage, is surpassed by whoever speaks and demonstrates to all of them, or to a single irreversible Bodhisattva, starting from speaking and demonstrating meaningful and literate content, up to..., this accumulates even more merit than the former, and is called the ninth praise. Thus, in order to generate joy in Bodhisattvas, praises, reverence, and commendations for various aspects have been spoken. The more a Bodhisattva becomes distinguished, the more he should be supported and honored with Dharma and material possessions, because the Three Jewels are distinguished by the Bodhisattva.

In order to show "it is like this", from "Then, beginning with the one named Indra, the Lord of the Gods," etc., up to "Then, the Bodhisattva Maitreya," it is said in this way. Having thus shown the benefits and virtues of faith and attention, the dedication is: The excellent dedication is supremely superior, Its function is the most supreme. It is of the nature of no object, Its characteristic is non-perversion. Solitude and Buddha's accumulation of merit, Its sphere of activity is the remembrance of self-nature. With skillful means and without characteristics, Rejoicing in the Buddhas and the three realms. Not belonging to the small, medium, or great, The other three dedications are the nature of the great source of merit. Thus it is said. The sutra is, beginning with "Then, the great Bodhisattva Maitreya," up to "between the unequal and the equal." The meaning of this is that the Bodhisattva's dedication of merit surpasses all the accumulations of merit of the lesser vehicles, which is to differentiate, from the excellent and supreme to the unequal and equal. By what means? By making it common with all sentient beings and dedicating it to perfect enlightenment. Therefore, it is distinguished by this, hence it is distinguished, and the dedication by it is the excellent dedication. Why is this so? From "Why is it" etc., to the end of "dedication," that is its function. The sutra is, beginning with "Then, the venerable Subhuti," up to "should be dedicated to perfect enlightenment." Whatever roots of virtue there are of the Tathagatas of the past and present, and their Shravakas, and the gods and humans who have faith in them, all are rejoiced in, and the object of merit possessed by rejoicing, to what enlightenment is dedicated by what mind, whatever mind clings to as real, and whatever is the object, that is, the complete dedication of clinging, all of these, because their nature does not exist as it is, therefore there is no grasping, therefore the dedication without grasping is the dedication without grasping. The sutra begins with what Maitreya said.

, expressed by the words "should dedicate to the unsurpassed." Because they are all non-existent, not with characteristics, not with manifest attachment, therefore it is an undeluded dedication. The sutra starts from "if" and goes up to "the Prajnaparamita of Bodhisattva Mahasattva." They are all empty of their own nature, like this, dedicating all dharmas with an empty mind is the dedication of emptiness. The sutra starts from "another" and goes up to before "what Maitreya said." All Buddhas of the past and present ten directions and their Shravakas, etc., all the roots of virtue of the past, are free from exhaustion and cessation, like the dedication of merit, etc., all conditioned dharmas are also the same Dharma nature, like this, the dedication of remembering the nature of the accumulation of merit of the Buddhas, etc., all conditioned phenomena, is the dedication of the roots of virtue of the Buddhas, it is the dedication of remembering the nature. The sutra starts from "what Maitreya said" and goes up to "the dedication with suffering." Skillful means is to dedicate merit with Prajnaparamita, therefore the dedication without object and without characteristics is the dedication of skillful means. The sutra starts from "now for example" and goes up to "should not be learned." Just like food with perfect color and fragrance contains poison, so is the dedication with characteristics. Therefore, that dedication is the dedication without characteristics. The sutra starts from "what Subhuti said" and goes up to "the ultimate of non-poison and nectar." Just like the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, know what is the kind of good of the wisdom of unsurpassed Bodhi, what is the nature, what is the characteristic, by what Dharma nature it exists, I also rejoice. Just like the Buddhas, the Bhagavat
