Who attains Nirvana. 'Doing' means completely attaining Nirvana with manifest activity. 'Non-doing' means completely attaining Nirvana without manifest activity. Because one goes to the intermediate state of Akanishta, it is called Akanishta-go, which means going to the ultimate end of Akanishta. These six phrases from 'one interval' to 'Akanishta-go' are a classification and collection, because it is reasonable that one aspect of the words follows those phrases. The sound of complete Nirvana and manifest activity is made indistinct. The sound of 'born from' refers to being born miraculously, because that is a small difference. 'Jumping' means jumping, half-jumping, and the transference of death in all circumstances. 'Going to the end of existence' means going to the ultimate end of existence. 'Destroying desire for form' means being free from desire for form. 'Seeing the Dharma peacefully' means completely attaining Nirvana in the Dharma that is seen. 'Manifesting the body' means meditating on the eight liberations. 'Rhinoceros' means a Pratyekabuddha Arhat, because it is in accordance with those Dharmas. Here, there is no distinction made from the result, so one does not wish to enter in dependence on the result. There is also no distinction made in entering into Bodhi, because they are not different. Practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, knowing the truth, knowing refuge, not being attached, not being tired, going to the ten directions, seeing the faces of the Tathagatas and serving them with reverence, then completely holding that path, having the five eyes, having the six superknowledges, abiding in the holy ground with the paths of seeing and meditation, this is the order of the instructions. Having explained the instructions in this way, one should speak of those that are in accordance with the part of definite analysis, with the object and the aspect, the cause and the complete holding, the Bodhisattva who protects, the nature of heat and so on, as they are.

Those who possess the four discriminations, small, medium, and great, are superior to those such as the Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas who are like rhinoceros horns, and those who are complete. Thus it is said. Determination is discernment, being endowed with singleness of determination. Its limbs are fourfold: heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme mundane dharma. These are also in accordance with the factors of determination, for realizing non-discrimination is determination, which is the path of seeing. Obtaining that is a factor. Benefiting that is in accordance with the factors of determination. In some (treatises), a clear distinction is made with many words, called heats, peaks, forbearances, and supreme mundane dharmas. In some (treatises), the word "becoming" is expressed as a general term, such as becoming heat, becoming peak, becoming forbearance, and becoming supreme mundane dharma. Bodhisattvas are saviors merely by the intention to completely save all sentient beings. Among them, what is small, medium, and great is called superior, because it has become superior. From what is it superior? It is superior to Hearers and so forth, as well as Solitary Realizers and those who are complete, meaning the actions of Hearers and so forth. From what reason is it superior? Starting from the object and so forth. The object and the aspect, and becoming the cause of obtaining the three vehicles, skillful means, being embraced by a virtuous friend, how to possess the four discriminations, from elaborating on these, they are combined in order. In the sutras, it is said differently from this. Therefore, this (four applications of mindfulness) should be explained in the order of the sutras, not in the usual order. Among them, the factors of determination associated with Hearers and so forth are focused on the four truths, and each truth also has four aspects, namely impermanence, suffering, and so on, cause and arising, and so on, cessation and peace, and so on, path and reason, and so on. The heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme mundane dharma of the Bodhisattva, each of these also has the distinction of small, medium, and great.

English
It will transform into twelve aspects. Among them, for the small warmth: the object of focus is impermanence, etc., possessing the support of truth, its aspect is to prevent manifest clinging, etc. Thus it is said. Possessing the support of truth means the object of the four truths. Impermanence, etc., means focusing on impermanence itself, etc. As it is in the sutra. Its aspect means it is similar to focusing on that. For example, preventing manifest clinging, etc., means not being manifestly clinging, not having abiding, and not having awareness. Among them, holding firmly to the thing itself is manifest clinging. Medium is abiding. Small is awareness. Preventing those. Emptiness of those is the nature of wisdom. For example, the nature of the space devoid of a pot is that there is no pot in the space. Among them, the first is from "craving for the Dharma" to "will become a fault." That is the object and aspect of the small warmth of the truth of suffering. From "not seeing" to "between," it is the explanation of the object of the small warmth of the truth of origin, the object is the basis of form, etc., to be abandoned, etc. The aspect is to prevent manifest clinging, etc., from that. From "thus preventing" to "not knowing correctly," it is the basis of manifesting cessation, etc. The aspect is the same as before. Among them, what is without fault is this: emptiness of the basis of external, etc., is the object. Not truly seeing those as emptiness of the basis of internal, etc., is the aspect, this is without fault. That is the object and aspect of the small warmth of the truth of cessation. From "after that" to "should be known," it is for the truth of the path. Among them, knowing the basis of form, etc., itself is the object. Thus, it is also not to be thought, it is the aspect. Likewise, no mind is its nature, luminosity. From where does luminosity come? Because that mind is neither with desire, etc., nor without desire, etc. What is that no mind? That is its nature.
