Those who possess the nature of great compassion, even if there arise those who are extremely skilled in working for the benefit of all beings, those who have not become vessels due to not having the merit, will not be able to experience the good qualities of realization such as hearing the supreme Dharma from it. If some meritorious beings, sometimes have supports with their respective meanings appear, then how can it be said to be pervasive and constant? To answer this question, the intermediate verse was spoken: Because such deeds are vast, it is said that the Buddha is pervasive, because that nature is inexhaustible, it is also said that that nature is constant. Thus. As said before, because the self-nature extensively benefits others in all aspects, and constantly abides in the world until the end of samsara, and never exhausts the self-nature of the meaning that it accomplishes, therefore it should be declared in order that the Buddha is pervasive and constant. By the power of the self-nature of the Dharmakaya, the Sambhogakaya is spoken, which teaches the corresponding Dharma to the most tamed beings: The nature of the thirty-two marks and eighty minor marks, in order to make the Mahayana enjoy, therefore the Victorious One's Sambhogakaya is established. Thus. The perfect self-nature of the Rupakaya, which shines with the thirty-two marks and eighty minor marks, is for the great Bodhisattvas who have entered the ten bhumis, to be able to enjoy the joy and happiness of the Mahayana Dharma without any hindrance, so it is the Sambhogakaya of the Buddha Bhagavan. Ah! The face is adorned with splendor, the upper body resembles a lion. The arms are round, and the shoulders are full. Even what is not delicious appears as the supreme taste. The body is like a banyan tree, with a wide and hidden water surface. The crown is complete, the long tongue is beautiful, the voice of Brahma, the cheeks are like a lion, the teeth are extremely white, of equal size, neatly arranged, and the number is forty, fully complete, the eyes are deep blue, and the eyelashes are excellent. These are the thirty-two marks. With what marks are these accomplished? What are the causes of their accomplishment? When these are perfectly complete, these marks are truly accomplished. Welcoming the Lama and so on, as well as truly upholding steadfastness, relying on the means of gathering and abundant things, giving to those who should be killed, liberating them, and virtuous dharmas, truly upholding and increasing them and so on. These are the characteristics of the causes of accomplishment, as stated in the sutras. Thus it is said. Among them, the first five verses show the characteristics of each mark. After that, one verse generally shows the causes that accomplish them. Then, two verses separately and truly explain each cause. Thus, welcoming and sending off the Lama and so on, one possesses the marks of wheels on the hands and feet; truly upholding the vows, being steadfast, the feet are extremely stable like a tortoise; relying on the four means of gathering, the fingers of the hands and feet are connected by webs like the king of geese; giving abundant food and drink and so on, the hands and feet are soft and lustrous; giving extremely abundant food and so on, the hands and feet and the shoulders and the direction of the neck are raised, so one possesses the seven full marks; liberating from the place where one should be killed, so the fingers are long and slender; at the cost of life, so the heels are wide; abandoning killing, so the body is tall and upright; truly upholding virtuous dharmas, so the ankles are not visible; increasing the virtuous dharmas that are truly upheld, so the hairs on the body grow upwards; respectfully giving learning and crafts and so on, so the giving of alms is like the Iniyani deer; not rejecting the beggars who possess wealth, so
