The suffering that is to be realized by the Hearers, such as the forbearance of knowing the Dharma, is thus spoken of as the Hearer's path itself. In the case of all-knowingness, Bodhisattvas should know the Hearer's path, but not realize it directly. Therefore, the path of meditation is not shown here. In order to teach in detail the three aspects of all-knowingness and then summarize them, it is said: Thus, this and also this, and this is the three aspects; with this, the three situations are completely shown to be accomplished. As it is said, according to the reason that has been said, 'this and' means all-aspects-knowing. 'Also this' means path-knowing. 'And this is' means all-knowing, which is the complete teaching of the three chapters. The commentary on the Ornament for Clear Realization, called 'Part of Fame', ends with the commentary on the third chapter. Commentary on the Fourth Chapter In order to be able to fully know and master the three all-knowingnesses, after summarizing the objects, paths, and aspects, it is said that the three all-knowingnesses should be meditated upon, and the complete clear enlightenment of the aspects is taught. 'The aspects of the ground and wisdom, the aspect is called the nature. Since all-knowingness is threefold, therefore it is considered to be threefold.' As it is said, 'ground and' means that in the nature of phenomena, the four truths, which are completely imputed, are the objects. Among them, what is the aspect of wisdom? It is the differentiation of the Dharma, such as impermanence, which becomes the activity of wisdom and becomes realization. The aspect of these is called the nature, which means the characteristic. Since all-knowingnesses are of the nature of three aspects, their aspects are also three. Among them, the aspects of realizing all-knowingness are taught: 'From the aspect of non-existence onwards, up to the aspect of immovability, there are four for each truth, and for the path it is said to be fifteen.' As it is said, from the aspect of non-existence onwards, up to the perfection of immovability, there are twenty-seven aspects, with four each for the truth of suffering, the truth of origin, and the truth of cessation. The remaining fifteen are the truth of the path. Among them, for suffering, there are the four aspects of non-existence, equality, separation, and non-effort. For the origin,

Having arisen, there is no place to dwell, like the absence of space, the inability to be expressed, and the absence of arrogance, these four. In cessation, there is no coming, incomparable, inexhaustible, and unborn, these four aspects. On the path, there is no doer, no knower, no transfer, no decay, like dreams, reflections, mirages, illusions, without all afflictions, without complete purification, completely unsoiled, without pride, without wavering, like dreams, fifteen in total. In general, there are twenty-seven, which are the aspects of knowing everything. Speaking from the perspective of the wisdom of the path: "Cause, path, and suffering, Cessation in order, Those eight and seven, Five and sixteen are said." That is to say, the cause is accumulation. The reason why accumulation is mentioned first here is because it has become the method of the result. The reason why suffering and cessation are mentioned later is because they have become the result. Their aspects are, in order, eight, seven, Five, and sixteen, as stated in the sutras. Among them, accumulation has detachment, no dwelling, peace, no desire, no hatred, no ignorance, no affliction, no truth, eight in total. The path has immeasurability, not following the two extremes, no difference, not dependent on others, no discrimination, immeasurable, no opportunity, seven aspects. Suffering has impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness, signlessness, five aspects. Cessation has inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner and outer emptiness, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, conditioned emptiness, unconditioned emptiness, beyond extremes emptiness, beginningless and endless emptiness, non-abandonment emptiness, self-nature emptiness, all phenomena emptiness, self-characteristic emptiness, unobtainable emptiness, real

The nature of non-existence, the sixteen aspects of the sixteen emptinesses, in total, there are thirty-six aspects. The aspects of realizing all aspects are explained. With the distinction of the three omniscient ones, it is in accordance with the truth of the path. Starting from mindfulness, up to the final aspect of becoming a Buddha, for disciples, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, it is considered to be thirty-seven, thirty-four, and thirty-nine respectively. Thus, the aspect of encompassing all noble beings is the all-aspect wisdom. The number of paths that truly encompass the three omniscient ones is as follows: thirty-seven for the Shravakas, thirty-four for the Bodhisattvas, and thirty-nine for the Buddhas. Among them, mindfulness of the body, mindfulness of feelings, mindfulness of mind, and mindfulness of phenomena are the four mindfulnesses. Abandoning the sins and non-virtuous dharmas that have arisen, not generating the non-virtuous dharmas that have not arisen, generating the virtuous dharmas that have not arisen, and increasing the virtuous dharmas that have arisen are the four right abandonments. Samadhi of aspiration, samadhi of effort, samadhi of mind, and samadhi of investigation are the four legs of miraculous power. The power of faith, the power of effort, the power of mindfulness, the power of samadhi, and the power of wisdom are the five powers. These are not overcome by opposing factors, hence they are the strength of faith, the strength of effort, the strength of mindfulness, the strength of samadhi, and the strength of wisdom, which are the five strengths. Mindfulness as a branch of perfect enlightenment, discrimination of dharmas as a branch of perfect enlightenment, effort as a branch of perfect enlightenment, joy as a branch of perfect enlightenment, tranquility as a branch of perfect enlightenment, samadhi as a branch of perfect enlightenment, and equanimity as a branch of perfect enlightenment are the seven branches of enlightenment.
