The power of knowing what is possible and impossible, the power of remembering past existences, the power of knowing death and rebirth, and the power of knowing the exhaustion of defilements—these are the ten powers of the Tathāgatas. The four fearlessnesses are: fearlessness in regard to complete enlightenment, fearlessness in regard to the exhaustion of defilements, fearlessness in regard to obstructing dharmas, and fearlessness in regard to the dharma of nirvāṇa—these are the four kinds of fearlessness. The three non-protections are: for the Tathāgata, who is without fault, there is no one who can completely frighten him; therefore, there is no non-protection in body, no non-protection in speech, and no non-protection in mind—these are the three kinds of non-protection. The three mindfulnesses are: when teaching the dharmas, for those who want to listen, those who do not want to listen, and those who want to do both, in accordance with the order, without following after attachment, hatred, or both. Thus, the Blessed One abides in mindfulness—these are the three kinds of mindfulness. The nature of not forgetting is: the characteristic of not being past the time of benefiting sentient beings is the nature of not forgetting. Completely destroying habitual tendencies means completely destroying the habitual tendencies of the afflictive obscurations and the obscurations to knowledge. Great compassion for beings means wanting to eliminate the suffering of all sentient beings and the causes of that suffering. The eighteen unshared dharmas of the Sage alone are: there is no confusion in body, no idle talk in speech, no loss of mindfulness, no lack of equanimity, no various perceptions, no abandonment of equanimity towards various numbers, no complete loss of intention, no complete loss of diligence, no complete loss of mindfulness, no complete loss of samādhi, no complete loss of wisdom, no complete loss of liberation, wisdom precedes bodily action, wisdom precedes verbal action, wisdom precedes mental action, and there is no attachment to the past and no

Unobstructed wisdom, wisdom without attachment or obstruction to future events, and wisdom without attachment or obstruction to present events, are known as the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. "All-knowingness" refers to the realization of the nature of all-knowingness as it is spoken. Thus, for the Dharma-nature of the Tathagata, it is manifestly expressed as the root of Dharma, and the difference made by the reverse method is fully measured, which is the Dharma of the qualities of the Tathagata's mind. In order to show the difference between the Samadhi without afflictions of the Shravakas and others and the Samadhi without afflictions of the Buddha in terms of results, it is said: The view of the Shravaka without afflictions, the afflictions of humans are completely abandoned, the Victorious One's city and others, the cutting off of the stream of afflictions is without afflictions. This means that "without afflictions" means without afflictions, and any Samadhi without afflictions is a distinction of Samadhi without afflictions. Any Shravakas who have entered into Samadhi without afflictions, the human afflictions seen by those Shravakas will no longer arise. The Tathagata, having entered into Samadhi without afflictions, whether seeing or not seeing, can cut off the stream of afflictions of sentient beings in towns and other places, which is the distinction. In order to show that the wish-wisdom of the Tathagata is superior to the wish-wisdom of the Shravakas and others, it is said: The Buddha's wish-wisdom is spontaneously accomplished, free from attachment, unobstructed, permanent, and willing to answer all questions. This means that the Buddha's wish-wisdom is spontaneously accomplished because of non-discrimination. Free from attachment because of non-reliance. Unobstructed because of being unobstructed in everything. Permanent because of being permanent until Samsara is empty. "Willing to answer all questions" because of hearing the four analytical knowledges. The Shravakas and others are the opposite of these. Thus, always
