Therefore, it is due to its influence that actions such as killing are established. If asked how it is established, it is like being associated with improper attention, similar to being associated with non-virtue, etc. It means that for some monks who have vowed to maintain celibacy for life, on several occasions, seeing some women, due to the prior thought of caressing firm, full, and bulging breasts, when encountering them, they are corrupted by embracing, etc., and thus become non-virtuous actions characterized by fundamental downfalls. The word "etc." means that at that moment, since there is no concealment from the Sangha, repentance is done beforehand, and in order to regain the status of a monk, this is virtuous. However, if the same thing happens in sleep, it is similar to an unindicated establishment. Why? According to the view of the school that asserts the real existence of things, since the moment itself, the moment of non-virtue, etc., has already perished, and since it arises from karma, there is no non-virtue, etc., in doing these things. Alternatively, non-virtue, etc., which is contrary to virtue, etc., is similar to establishing the situation for the monk at that time, and that is the conclusion. Similarly, for the situation where things are similar to dreams, that is, all dharmas are without substance, in accordance with this, for the characteristics of sentient beings, etc., which are the meaning of emptiness of inherent existence, those who cling to the appearance of things and are attached to things. The word "etc." means, I killed them with swords, etc., etc.,

Answer: "May those vile beings be destroyed!" etc., what is said is the answer. The answer included by the word "etc." is that "furthermore" etc. are said. "Furthermore" is a summary of other answers. "The mind of dreams is weakened by sleep." Why is it said that sleep is obscured by the distinction of laziness, so the mind that is weakened and unclear because of that cause, in the state of dreams, that is, the inverted state of sleep, is not the same as the knowledge and fruit of killing etc. Like the state of not being asleep, the fruits of unwholesomeness etc. are not separately established, this is the remaining part. If even in a dream, the mind becomes clear, then at that time, like the state of not being asleep, killing etc. is like the production of semen, that too can be separately established, because the clinging to things etc. is the same. Understand it this way. Therefore, "the example is not established," the example of dreams is not to prove that there is no unwholesomeness etc. in the state of not being asleep. Another way of answering is that "similarly" etc. are said. "Similarly" means that like the state of not being asleep, the practice of virtue and non-virtue in dreams is, doing virtue etc. in dreams, at the time of waking up, is the moment of rising. "Suddenly done, done well," this is because of rejoicing and being happy about virtue etc. The mind of the subsequent moment is the nourishment clung to by that subsequent mind, that is, the increase. Completely nourishing it is that virtue etc. increases, thus separately established, this is the remaining part. Therefore, "the example is also not established," the example of dreams is not to prove that there is no unwholesomeness etc. in the state of not being asleep. "Sentient beings" etc., the explanation of the pure Buddha-field is easy to understand. The verse "its object" etc. is explained by "the law of obstacles" etc. "Obstacles" etc. means that there are phenomena held by form etc.

Because demons and the like arise from observing things, and that is non-existent. The phrase "all dharmas" and so forth means that having become accustomed to meditating on selflessness through dependent arising and the like, everything is equality itself, so there is no manifest attachment anywhere. The phrase "accomplished by aspiration" and so forth means that in all ways, one is clad in armor for the sake of others. The phrase "all austerities" and so forth means that one is accustomed to giving, great giving, and extreme giving. The phrase "white dharma" and so forth means that because of selflessness, in all ways, thought is completely pure. In the phrase "liberation" and so forth, it is because one is accustomed to the means of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. The phrase "asking first" and so forth means that one teaches the Dharma after being asked. Because one is skilled in knowing all realms and immeasurable things such as love, it is said to be explained from sounds and so forth. The phrase "its object" and so forth is to be explained. Thus, the Prajnaparamita, which is the nature of non-discrimination, has ten aspects, which are ten names. Its object, which is the object of experience to be manifested, is the self-nature to be manifested. Knowing its time and non-time is the application of knowing the time of reason and non-reason, which is the distinction of thought. The phrase "skillful in means" means that one is thus accomplished in the ten paths. The phrase "this" should be understood through the meaning of abiding in the path of meditation. Furthermore, what is the difference between the three omniscient ones and the complete perfect enlightenment of all aspects? Some say that the three omniscient ones are the determination of the objects of the various aspects by the aspects as described above, while the complete perfect enlightenment of all aspects is the object of all the remaining aspects. Others say that the three omniscient ones are established as having characteristics, while the complete perfect enlightenment of all aspects is having application. Still others say that the complete perfect enlightenment of all aspects is the antidote to opposing factors.
