Diligence, namely: virtuous Dharma and, doing the benefit of sentient beings and, the discipline of vows and, remembering the benefits done by others and, enduring the harm done by others, etc., and, having no regret in practicing virtuous Dharma and, loving all sentient beings and, paying homage to Khenpos, etc., and, practicing the Dharma taught by virtuous spiritual friends and, rejoicing in the six perfections such as generosity, such purification, like the previous one, is purified, and with the eight differences of the purification done, the second ground, the stainless ground, is attained. Never being satisfied with hearing and, giving Dharma without material possessions, purifying all Buddha-fields, never being weary of samsara, being ashamed and having scruples, and being without arrogance, these five. Namely: never knowing satisfaction from listening to the sacred Dharma and, with a mind that does not look at gain, etc., thoroughly expounding the sacred Dharma and, purifying all the support and supported of one's own Buddha-field and, not being weary of seeing discordant sentient beings, etc., who have been benefited, and, not doing non-virtuous deeds in relation to oneself and others, such are the five purifications. Like before, by purifying without thinking of the nature of reality, the third ground, the illuminating ground, is realized. Dwelling in the forest, desiring little, being content, and, practicing the discipline of true training, and, never abandoning the vows completely, and, reviling all desires, and, Nirvana and giving up everything, not being timid and having no views. Namely: dwelling in a solitary place and, not having desire for gains not obtained and, not particularly seeking gains that have been obtained and, practicing the qualities of training such as begging for alms, truly holding the discipline and, not abandoning the vows taken even for the sake of life, etc., and, seeing the faults in the qualities of desire and reviling them, and, in accordance with those to be tamed, showing the way to enter Nirvana and, completely giving away all possessions and, not being timid in mind in practicing virtue and, not being attached to all things, such purification, like before, with ten aspects, the fourth ground, the radiant ground, is obtained.
