Actions characterized by their own nature do not manifest the true limit, and because they do not gather beings with skill in wisdom and means, they are actions such as gathering. Thus, after describing the basis and so forth, it is necessary to perfect all paths in the context of knowing the path itself. The path of the Hearers: Regarding the manner of knowing the path itself, it is said: 'The four noble truths, through the gate of non-apprehension of aspects, this path of the Hearers should be known.' In that, according to the order of the truth of suffering: impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness; these four characteristics of peace; and the cause of the truth of origin, origin, arising, and the nature of condition; and the aspects of disease, result, pain, and sin; and renunciation, freedom from desire, and entering for cessation, because it appears thus. The very truths of suffering and origin are the nature of the other shore of the characteristics of renunciation and the aspects of the nature of the law of destruction, and the nature of freedom from desire, the aspects of agitation and extreme destruction, and the aspects of the nature of cessation, fear, epidemic, and harm, and the very nature of cessation of the truth of cessation, selflessness, and the nature of the aspects of peace and abundance, solitude, and the characteristic of definite departure, emptiness, and the aspects of signlessness, wishlessness, and non-conceptualization, and the aspects of the path of the truth of the path, reason, cultivation, and definite departure. Through the gate of non-apprehension of nature, in the context of knowing the path itself, the Bodhisattva should thus fully know that it is the path of the Hearers and so forth. Fully knowing the four truths is because realization in accordance with the part of definite determination is the precursor, therefore, after describing the path, it is in accordance with the part of definite determination. Regarding the path of the noble Hearers: Because form and so forth are empty, emptiness and so forth are inseparable, because those heats are not apprehended, they are considered to be the peak. In that, by the reasoning of permanence and so forth, abiding is prevented, therefore, patience and so forth begin from the ten grounds and so forth.

From the ground, by extensively showing non-abiding, it is said to transform into the supreme Dharma. Why? Because the Buddha knows but does not see the Dharmas. Thus it is said, the aggregates such as form are empty by their own nature, therefore the emptinesses are not different from each other, and the forms etc. are not perceived as before, and likewise the forms etc. are neither permanent nor impermanent, thus the abiding is prevented by way of object of perception. Why? Because the Tathagata, after attaining complete and perfect enlightenment, does not see the Dharmas, by the reason that the valid person cannot perceive, the aspects of extensively showing non-abiding on the Joyful Ground etc., in sequence, are in accordance with the part that definitely arises from the object of truth, and are called beings. At the end of the Hearer's path, it is reasonable to declare the Solitary Buddha's path, but how do they surpass the Hearers? Why is their path different? To dispel such doubts, a slight distinction is established. For the sake of realizing the self-born nature, even if instructed by others, it is not necessary, and the wisdom like a rhinoceros horn is manifestly said to be profound. Thus it is said, the sutras say that the Hearers rely on the instructions of others to realize their own Bodhi, and others also cause them to enter into virtue by teaching the Dharma with words. The Solitary Buddhas, having accumulated past hearing etc., do not rely on the instructions of others, but realize their own Bodhi by themselves, therefore they do not need instructions from the Buddhas etc., this is one distinction. If the listeners can understand the wisdom and ability of the speaker through the door of teaching the Dharma spoken in words, then they, by the power of their own wisdom etc., teach the Dharma without words, causing others to enter into the ten virtues etc., therefore their wisdom is inconceivable, this is the second distinction. Furthermore, how does one teach the Dharma without words? To dispel such doubts, whatever
