既不高也不矮， 嘴唇红润如频婆果， 舌头柔软而纤薄， 红润且具龙之音， 言语柔和牙齿圆， 锋利洁白且平整， 鼻梁纤细且高挺， 极其清净且纯洁， 眼睛宽大睫毛密， 犹如莲花之花瓣， 眉毛修长且柔顺， 光亮且毛发匀称， 手长而丰满耳廓齐， 彻底断绝诸损伤， 额头开阔而舒展， 宽广且头颅饱满， 头发黑亮如蜂群， 浓密柔顺不缠结， 不蓬乱且气味芬芳， 令人心神为之倾， 吉祥图案与瑞相， 乃佛陀殊胜妙相。 是说，对于一切行无有贪恋，因此指甲犹如铜色；对于一切众生具有利益的殊胜发心，因此指甲颜色润泽；从高贵种姓中出生，因此指甲高起；行为没有丝毫过失，因此手指圆润；积累善根，因此手指丰满；真实趋入究竟，因此手指纤细； 守护身体等行为和生计，因此脉络不显现；解脱烦恼的束缚，因此脉络没有缠结；具有极其隐秘的佛法智慧，因此踝骨不显现；从一切难以行进之处救度众生，因此双足平坦；精通于不被他人压伏，因此行走如狮子；精通于压伏龙族，因此行走如象王；精通于行走于虚空，因此行走如天鹅；精通于人中之尊，因此行走如人中之尊；行走与环绕方向相合，因此向右旋转而行；精通于美观，因此行走美观；恒常没有散乱之心，因此行走稳重；功德圆满

Neither too tall nor too short, The lips are red like the bimba fruit, The tongue is soft and thin, Red and possessing the sound of a dragon, The speech is gentle and the teeth are round, Sharp, white, and even, The nose is slender and high, Extremely pure and immaculate, The eyes are wide and the eyelashes are thick, Like the petals of a lotus flower, The eyebrows are long and smooth, Shiny and the hairs are even, The hands are long and full, the ears are even, Completely abandoning all defects, The forehead is well-opened and spacious, Broad and the head is full, The hair is black like a swarm of bees, Thick, smooth, and unentangled, Not disheveled and fragrant, Captivating the mind of men, The auspicious emblems and signs, Are considered the excellent marks of the Buddha. That is to say, being free from attachment to all conditioned things, hence the nails are like the color of copper; having the extraordinary intention to benefit all sentient beings, hence the nails are glossy in color; being born from a supreme lineage, hence the nails are raised; having impeccable conduct, hence the fingers are rounded; accumulating roots of virtue, hence the fingers are full; truly entering into the ultimate, hence the fingers are slender; Protecting the actions and livelihood of the body and so forth, hence the veins are invisible; untying the knots of afflictions, hence the veins are without knots; possessing the wisdom of the most hidden Dharma, hence the ankles are invisible; liberating beings from all difficult places to traverse, hence the feet are even; being skilled in not being subdued by others, hence walking like a lion; being skilled in subduing the nagas, hence walking like an elephant king; being skilled in walking in the sky, hence walking like a swan; being skilled as the supreme among men, hence walking like the supreme among men; walking in accordance with the direction of circumambulation, hence turning to the right and walking; being skilled in beauty, hence walking beautifully; constantly having no distracted mind, hence walking steadily; perfect in qualities.

由于善于表达，所以身体圆润饱满；由于不沾染罪恶之法，所以身体如同擦拭干净一般；由于宣说与所化众生相应的法，所以身体次第相宜；由于身体等一切行为清净，所以身体极其清净；由于心怀慈悲，所以身体柔和；由于心极其清净，所以身体极其清净；由于佛法戒律圆满，所以相好圆满；由于广大美妙的功德圆满，所以身体的肢体广大而美好；由于对一切众生心怀平等，所以步伐平稳；由于宣说清净之法，所以眼睛清净；由于容易理解地宣说佛法，所以身体非常年轻；由于内心始终不沮丧，所以身体没有沮丧；由于善根完全增长，所以身体丰满；由于再次存在已经耗尽，所以身体非常紧致；由于善于阐释缘起，所以肢体和分支非常分明；由于宣说词句的含义极其清净，所以视力没有模糊且极其清净；由于弟子们具足戒律，所以腰部浑圆；由于没有被轮回的过患所沾染，所以腰部合度；由于降伏了傲慢的姿态，所以腰部不僵硬；由于完全遮止了衰损之法，所以腰部平坦；由于证悟了甚深之法，所以肚脐深陷；由于能够和合地摄受弟子，所以肚脐向右旋转；由于眷属一切都变得美好，所以一切都美好；由于内心清净，所以一切行为清净；由于远离了不合时宜的佛法戒律，所以身体没有痣和黑点；由于宣说能够获得身体等舒适外形的佛法，所以手像木棉一样非常柔软；由于获得了光彩照人的大修行，所以手上的纹路光彩照人；由于安住于甚深之法，所以手上的纹路深刻。

Due to skillful expression, the body is round and full; due to not being tainted by sinful dharmas, the body is as if wiped clean; due to teaching the Dharma that is suitable for the beings to be tamed, the body is appropriately arranged in order; due to the purity of all actions such as the body, the body is extremely pure; due to having a compassionate heart, the body is gentle; due to the mind being extremely pure, the body is extremely pure; due to the completeness of the Dharma and discipline, the marks are complete; due to the completeness of vast and beautiful qualities, the limbs of the body are vast and beautiful; due to having equanimity towards all beings, the steps are even; due to teaching the pure Dharma, the eyes are pure; due to teaching the Dharma in an easy-to-understand manner, the body is very youthful; due to the mind never being discouraged, the body is without discouragement; due to the roots of virtue being perfectly increased, the body is full; due to the exhaustion of rebirth, the body is very tight; due to skillfully explaining dependent origination, the limbs and branches are very distinct; due to teaching the meaning of words that is extremely pure, the vision is without blurriness and extremely pure; due to the disciples being endowed with perfect discipline, the waist is round; due to not being defiled by the faults of samsara, the waist is well-proportioned; due to subduing the arrogance of pride, the waist is not stiff; due to completely averting the Dharma of deterioration, the waist is flat; due to realizing the profound Dharma, the navel is deep; due to being able to harmoniously gather disciples, the navel spirals to the right; due to the retinue becoming beautiful in every way, everything is beautiful; due to the purity of the mind, all actions are pure; due to being free from untimely Dharma and discipline, the body has no moles or blemishes; due to teaching the Dharma that enables one to obtain a comfortable form for the body and so on, the hands are as soft as cotton; due to attaining the great practice that is radiant, the lines on the hands are radiant; due to abiding in the profound Dharma, the lines on the hands are deep.
