One should not think of it as how it pervades and is permanent. As it is said: Because of such great deeds, It is certain to say that the Buddha is pervasive. Because that nature is inexhaustible, It is also said to be permanent. As it is said. After that, the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks that adorn the body are for the sake of enjoying the joy and happiness of the Mahayana Dharma with the great Bodhisattvas who reside on the ten bhumis, and it is the third Sambhogakaya (enjoyment body). It should be regarded as the essence of the Rupakaya (form body) of the Buddha Bhagavan. As it is said: Thirty-two marks and, Eighty minor marks, For the sake of enjoying the Mahayana, Therefore, the Sage is regarded as the Sambhogakaya. As it is said. Furthermore, what are the thirty-two marks? Like this, for the lamas, with welcoming and seeing off, the hands and feet are endowed with the marks of wheels; With the steadfastness of properly upholding the vows, like a tortoise, the feet are extremely stable; By showing the four means of gathering, the fingers of the hands and feet are connected by webs like the king of swans; By giving abundant food and drink, the hands and feet are soft and youthful; By giving abundant licking and so on, the hands and feet and shoulders and the back of the neck are high, hence the seven places are full; By liberating from what should be killed, the fingers are long; By benefiting life, the heels are wide; By abandoning killing, the body is tall and upright; By truly abandoning virtue, the ankles are not visible; By increasing the virtue that is truly upheld, the body hair points upwards; By respectfully giving wisdom and crafts, it is given like the deer king Eneya; Because the beggars who possess wealth are not abandoned, the hands are long and beautiful; Causing all beings to truly uphold pure conduct and guarding secret words, hence the male organ is hidden in the sheath; Giving abundant cushions.
