In order to show the order, one explanation such as the abiding of the mind, and two explanations such as the complete grasping of the mind were spoken. What is called abiding in the baseless is the baseless that should not be abided in, enjoying the taste of entering into samadhi, etc., because it becomes the cause of attachment, etc., it abides and manifests attachment. Subhuti, those minds are without grasping and should not be completely grasped, meaning that for this, by making the mind agitated or doubting the agitated things, one becomes disgusted, which is the cause of calming; and by making the mind depressed or doubting the depressed things, one becomes very happy, which is the cause of complete grasping; and when one obtains the equality of the mind, the effortless intention, which is the cause of equanimity, should be grasped. In this way, because it is the cause of being separated from attachment, etc., it is the complete grasping of the mind. Or, because it is what should be grasped, it is not grasping, nor is it completely grasping again and again. Those minds and consciousnesses, in general, are shown by categories, and are spoken in order, such as "minds with defilements" etc. one explanation, and "minds without defilements" etc. two explanations. Subhuti, those minds are without self-nature and similar to non-existence, meaning that minds with defilements, because the antidote arises and should be prevented, are without their own self-nature, and even more similar to non-existence than that. Subhuti, those minds are inclined towards non-reality, meaning that minds without defilements are the ultimate of the afflictions that are abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of meditation. Therefore, because it naturally makes the continuum completely pure by its own nature, it is effortless accomplishment. Again, the six divisions of those themselves are explained by the explanation of "having desire" etc. Regarding the mind's having desire etc., the mind's having desire, this itself is the nature of ordinary people being attached to objects, that is not the true reality of the mind. The self-illuminating nature, with reason, becomes like an illusion-like nature, is.

Because of being able and not being able, these things sequentially possess the nature of being moving and not moving. Similarly, when the noble ones cultivate antidotes, the true nature of the mind, which is the nature of being without outflows, is not with attachment, because it is the essence of the side of the antidote. Therefore, in the impure state, the mind with attachment in conventional truth, such as "Subhuti, what is the separation from attachment of the mind?" etc. The separation from attachment of the mind, that is, the state of being separated from attachment, is the attachment of ordinary beings, not the state of attachment, because the two are different in nature. Similarly, with the aspect of being separated from attachment, such as abandoning attachment, the true nature attained by the mind separated from attachment, by realizing the nature of solitude, therefore it is not the mind with attachment. Therefore, in the state of solitude, the mind is separated from attachment. Similarly, the remaining texts such as with hatred, etc., should also be explained following this principle. Showing the knowledge of the vastness of the mind, from the perspective of negation and establishment, it turns into two explanations, that is, it explains "non-vast minds" etc. Subhuti, these minds do not possess arising, realizing no arising, this is because in the ultimate truth, due to no birth, the connection with the cause is emptiness, therefore they do not possess arising. Because of being separated from arising, not being related to the realms of desire etc., therefore, these minds realize no arising. Thus, not apprehending, therefore not vast. Subhuti, these minds do not decrease or increase etc., because there is no destruction, so they do not decrease, because there is no birth, so they do not increase. Therefore, because there is no separation from anything, so there is no separation. Thus, because it is the nature of the Dharmadhatu, it is called the vastness of the mind. Becoming a great mind.
