It is said, "There is no such thing," and so on. Because it takes its own nature as its object, it is the object of perception. Because it completely cuts off all general characteristics, it is a sign. The so-called inverted perception, etc., is the perception that has the nature of grasping at signs. Because it has no object of its own, it is inverted, and it grasps at what is not it as it. Therefore, perception is inverted. The so-called inverted mind is the mind of consciousness that is capable of perceiving, and it is also inverted. The so-called inverted view is the view of wisdom that has the nature of completely cutting off the appearance of things, and it is also inverted like the former. The so-called "unchanging" means that if it is related to the previous one, it is still a synonym for change. Even so, does the non-objective, universally dedicated attention become the nature of inverted perception, etc.? This is the remaining part. Because otherwise, if only the inverted nature of perception, etc., is shown, then since it does not contradict the usual meaning, it will become as if nothing has been said. If, because other things do not have their own objects, perception, etc., become inverted, then why would other things that are not its nature become the nature of inverted perception, etc.? In order to welcome this question, it is said, "It is like this," and so on. In "greed also," the word "also" is used to include hatred, etc. The so-called "discriminately imputed" means fabricated. The so-called "completely considered" means repeatedly focused on. Because it arises from inverted perception, etc., greed is also inverted perception, etc., and this is how it should be connected. Here it is said that because for things that have the nature of impermanence, etc., the non-existent things such as permanence are fabricated, and it is repeatedly focused on, so when greed, etc., arise as the cause of inverted perception, etc., they arise as the nature of inverted perception, etc., and therefore it is the non-objective, universally dedicated attention.

It is also said that actions will arise in the same way. To explain other aspects, it is said, "other" and so on. Furthermore, the nature of things as they are and the nature of things without form, that is the remainder. From the heart, is enlightenment also like that, is mind also like that, is it also non-existent? If it is acknowledged that it is so, then it is said, "if it is so" and so on. What is meant is that all phenomena of grasping and being grasped, and all the realms of their habitual tendencies, will also become non-existent. If that is the case, what fault is there? It is said, "if" and so on. Thinking in the mind, if things and so on are non-existent, and enlightenment and mind and so on are also non-existent, then with what things and so on, to what minds and so on, in which enlightenment will they be dedicated? Because no matter with what, no matter what, in what, it cannot be dedicated. Therefore, if dedication in any way is unreasonable, then dedication will be reversed, this is what is thought. In reality, even if it is reversed, it is like the conceptual thoughts of impermanence and so on, through indirect means, it obtains the correct meaning, because things and so on exist conventionally, therefore it is desired to focus on dedication. Therefore, the venerable Subhuti, with the thought that "you have not said anything more," said, "the venerable Subhuti is" and so on. Or, because things and objects and so on, are without attachment in the ultimate sense, therefore dedication in the conventional sense, like an illusory person, is not reversed, with this thought, it is said, "the venerable Subhuti is" and so on. If it is reasonable, why is it not said to the initial practitioner? To welcome this doubt, it is welcomed with "why," and then it is said, "for those who merely have faith" and so on. Because of the lack of confidence in realization, it is unstable, it is merely faith. Within that mere faith, with the distinction of small, medium, and large, with three verses it is said, "merely joy" and so on. Or, merely faith itself exists, and possessing qualities, and the ability

To have complete faith in oneself in due order, the initial and complete desire, is to show the three aspects such as joy. To say that it will disappear is because one is not proficient in the difference between the conventional and the ultimate, so one thinks it will disappear. Even so, would it become that one should not speak? The noble Subhuti spoke of non-retrogression and so on. Whatever is shown by the virtuous friend, even if it is an ordinary being, because of the blessing of the virtuous friend, one fully knows the nature of the two truths. In order to closely gather, he said things like that, like that means not being satisfied with the conventional truth. Furthermore, in order to show the meaning of being stable in the conventional aspect, he spoke of Maitreya's mind and so on. Whatever, refers to the root of virtue possessed by rejoicing. That mind also, refers to rejoicing, which ceases at the time of complete dedication, due to the destruction of what has been accumulated nearby. It is separated from the destruction of nature. It is transformed by the destruction of transformation. Therefore, it refers to that reason. At the time of complete dedication, one completely dedicates with a mind of rejoicing, what is that mind of rejoicing? It is the concluding remark that it is none at all. Thinking: In this way, here the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, after rejoicing, will dedicate all the objects of merit possessed by rejoicing to the omniscient wisdom. By this word, he showed the before and after, therefore he showed that the two mental activities of rejoicing and dedicating do not arise in one moment. Therefore, if one says that because the author is the same, the cause of "of" is spoken, and that only one mind first rejoices and then completely dedicates, that is unreasonable, because it is contradictory for a permanent phenomenon to act in sequence and simultaneously, so it is only a moment.
