The bodhisattvas who abide here, even if they are ordinary beings, have completely transcended all the decay of childhood and possess immeasurable samadhi, dharani, liberation, and supernormal powers, therefore it is said. By the power of completely pure intention, in the state of entering into samadhi in order to realize the first ground, one obtains the vast key instruction of the appearance of the Tathagata as a guide, such as "abiding in those samadhis" and so on. What is said in other aspects, such as seeing a hundred Buddhas on the first ground, that should be understood as definitely happening, because there is no negation of other arguments. Therefore, on the ground of practice with faith, one will be able to closely observe immeasurable Tathagatas. If two Tathagatas appear in one world, that is contradictory, how could that be? Some say that one sees the immeasurable Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who reside in other worlds. Others say that two Tathagatas will not appear in the world without precedence, and whatever prevents simultaneous birth is said with regard to the transmission of the doctrine, therefore, the doctrine of two Tathagatas will not appear in the world simultaneously, this meaning exists here. Like this, merely becoming the freedom of benefiting others, the appearance of those is like this, for example, the transmission of the doctrine. If that is the case, even in this world's place, with equality of thought and consistency of the order of the doctrine, because the cause is without limit, one will be able to see many Tathagatas appearing simultaneously. Still others say that because it is said not to be sequential, those are appearing in sequence, which is allowed. Those appearances are that the Dharmakaya and Sambhogakaya exist without complete extinction, however, they are merely not visible to those without merit. Those with merit, then, with merit

It is explained that they saw these in their own way, more or less closely. Some say that at that time, due to the blessing of one Tathagata, or the power of the noble Dharma-uttara, at the time of performing miracles, countless Tathagatas were manifested, just like individual beings. Others think that, due to possessing inconceivable doors of liberation, through the power of meditation, just like a beginner, one's own mind appears as countless Tathagatas, and the realization of this arises, therefore countless Tathagatas are seen. The so-called "like a crest on the head" means like wearing a turban on the head, it is a synonym for "you seize it." Likewise, why is that? After raising the question, it is said, "due to the power of the son of good family," and so on. The so-called "utterly afflicted" means unpleasant. The so-called "with its value" means that if I sell my body for the rest of my life, then because I am subject to others, there is no opportunity to travel today, therefore I will be completely deprived of the opportunity to make offerings, so it is with the value of selling my body for a temporary period. Some say that even though there may be a possibility of receiving offerings from gods, etc., through the power of clairvoyance, accepting its value is for the sake of respecting the Dharma. Others say that just because of pursuing not listening to the Dharma, one will lose the thought of striving for magical powers and clairvoyance. Others say that it is to show encouragement to those who are weak in diligence to seek the Dharma. Some explain that this order is for doing things for the merchant's daughter, etc. The three words, "destroyed," etc., are arranged in order because they are completely destroyed by the harm of oneself, others, and both. The so-called "for the sake of desire and the cause of desire" is a synonym for "for the sake of desire experienced and not experienced." Because great, medium, and small joy is obtained, the three words, "the mind is delighted," etc., are spoken. Some say that "giving whatever is desired" refers to the power of clairvoyance.

Some believe that even though one has already given away things like the heart, they promise to give because they do not see it as an obstacle to listening to the Dharma. Others explain that they did not even consider that pursuing things for the purpose of offering to the Dharma could itself become an obstacle. It means that with the thought that "a great mind is a great offering, not many things," they completely give everything away and then say, "Please give me that." "That which purifies diseases" refers to harmful speech. "The aspect of qualities" refers to the generality of qualities. "The difference of qualities" refers to the self-nature of qualities. Because it is in accordance with the mind, it is "desire." Because it does not produce faults, it is "patience." "I do not have power in this place" means that it is not to become a master or owner, but rather to not have the ability. In order to accommodate the sharp, medium, and dull faculties of beings, the three words "instant" etc. are spoken. Because there is no immediately arising disease, it is "without disease." Considering the diseases that may arise in the future, because there is no possibility of arising at all, it is "without harm." "Come here" means "please come." "Home" means "house." "Please allow" means "please release." As before, in order to dispel the doubt of "why," words such as "I am poor" are spoken. "If there are many and vast things" means that the types of objects are countless is "many," and each type is limitless is "vast." "Please grant" means "please bestow permission." "Always seeing from a distant place" means that in order to obtain special realization, because one has the ability to see the door of liberation of the noble Dharma, one sees from the distant city of Fragrant. The meaning of "Where does कौशिका (Sanskrit Devanagari: कौशिका, Sanskrit Romanization: kauśika, Literal meaning: Kausika) reside?" is that because one is pursuing the Dharma, one does not have the effort of clairvoyance, and therefore asks. The meaning of being surrounded by seven layers of walls is that because it is difficult to obtain and of great significance, in order to generate respect for this, it is bound very firmly with seven kinship relations, and one's own name is written on the seven knot positions.
