It is also said: Giving and so on, each one, Those gathered together mutually, By the forbearance of a single moment, That gathering is the path of seeing here. It is said. Such kinds of conceptualizations, having been abandoned before, how is it shown to be abandoned at the time of ultimate realization? Answer: There is no fault in that, because in the sutras such as the "Definitive Explanation of Intent," it is said that the totally obscured ones who follow subtle secrets and obstruct great clairvoyance, and their seeds, are abandoned on the tenth ground. Therefore, since the cause of the habit of the totally obscured ones as described is truly cut off, the four kinds of conceptualizations of the object and the subject that have a cause, such as those, are the nature of ultimate realization, so the peak realization associated with the tenth ground must be abandoned, while in other places it is an occasional abandonment, as the former teachers explained. In order for those of inferior intelligence to understand, with a mind of compassion, the conceptualizations described in this way are divided into nine kinds each by the distinction of objects, but for those of sharp intelligence, in order to abandon contempt, they are not divided excessively, and the categories of antidotes should also be understood in the same way. The meaning of the summary here is that all the conceptualizations of the object and the subject as described are caused by perversion, and that perversion is the nature of attachment to things from beginningless time. Therefore, by the object and aspect that are the opposite of that, the wisdom of no self-nature prevents that, which is the abandonment itself. When that is abandoned, how can the conceptualizations of the object and the subject, which are the root of that, and so on, be obtained? This is it. When this path of seeing truly arises, by the distinction of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, the one hundred and eight conceptualizations of the object and the subject, which are the nature of nine kinds each of the four conceptualizations, are abandoned, then the one hundred and eight afflictions of the habit that cause the conceptualizations gathered by those

Because of attaining the Dharma nature of dependent arising, in order to have mastery over it, one should repeatedly cultivate it. Thus it is said that all skillful means will make meditation complete. Such as and so on. The yogi who has attained the path of seeing, because there is no fear of afflictions and cognitive obscurations, enters into the Samadhi called Lion's Leap, and later, with the wisdom of dependent arising as the cause of the path, the aggregates, etc., are in accordance with the law, and birth ceases, therefore old age and death cease, etc., are not in accordance with the law. Correctly understanding these, one should know that this is the skillful means here. It is said thus: Lion's Leap Samadhi, having entered into Samadhi, from then on, dependent arising in accordance with the law, and not in accordance with the law are understood. Thus it is said. Thus, having explained the path of seeing, if the realization of dependent arising, such as abandoning the unfavorable aspects, is put first, it is easier to understand. In order to show the path of cultivating dependent arising, it is said that the skillful means want to completely grasp everything, etc. All skillful means here are the path of cultivation. That is also encompassed by the nine successive abidings, and it should also be known that it is encompassed by the Samadhi of the Holy One Exceeding Measure. Therefore, it is said that Bodhisattvas, starting from the first Dhyana and going up to cessation, and then starting from cessation and coming down to the first Dhyana, thus with two sequences of conforming and not conforming to the law, the four Dhyanas and the four formless absorptions and the Samadhi of the nature of cessation, come and go in the nine successive abidings, and again enter into the first Dhyana, and having arisen from that, enter into cessation, and so on up to the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, enter into cessation. Having arisen from that, focus on the immediately preceding Samadhi. In the desire realm, placing the aspect consciousness in the nature of the boundary, arising by the power of skillful means, such a consciousness that is not equally abiding, is made manifest.
