Thus, the Tathagatas are well distinguished by the wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising, as it is said, 'Thus, Ananda, in the past,' and so on. Here, the impermanence of a moment is exhaustion. The impermanence of continuity is complete exhaustion. The summary is, 'Thus, Ananda,' and so on. As it is said, 'The afflictions and obscurations of knowledge, the impurities distinguished as being born and unborn, are not apart from the realm of phenomena. Why? Because phenomena do not exist.' Thus it is said, the nature of the realm of phenomena is like space, without cessation or arising, or the nature of one and many, and cause and effect, without any tolerable thing by means of various aspects of measure, etc., like a lotus in the sky, without cessation or arising, therefore, in order, the impurities, etc., are without exhaustion or non-arising, with the wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising as their nature, the nature of realizing all phenomena without error, the Dharmakaya Prajnaparamita, what kind of nature is said to be the Great Bodhi. Thus it is also said: 'The wisdom of the exhaustion and non-arising of impurities, is called Bodhi. Because there is no exhaustion and no arising, those should be known in order.' Thus, when the Suchness is shown, the attachment to things that appear very much is removed, the thought of the destruction of things, the wisdom of thinking that exhaustion is exhausted, and the thought of future things not arising, knowing that non-arising is non-arising, thus it is said, therefore, the Great Bodhi is the very place where one establishes error in one's own nature, which is the meaning of the actual teaching, therefore, after that, it is said, 'The venerable Subhuti,' and so on. Thus, it is subsequently declared, 'Subhuti, the Prajnaparamita is,' and so on. 'Because space is inexhaustible, all phenomena are unborn,' thus it is said, because it is inexhaustible like space, and because phenomena are unborn, the Great Bodhi, which is the nature of knowing exhaustion and non-arising, is inexhaustible, such is the concluding statement. In the stage of the initial practitioner,

If one meditates with attachment to destruction, how can one realize such Prajnaparamita? This is asked by the Bhagavan Bodhisattva, etc. This fault does not exist because from the very beginning of practice, all dharmas are like illusions, free from arising and ceasing, so one meditates on all dharmas as if they were illusions. This is said by Subhuti Bodhisattva Mahasattva, 'the very nature of form being inexhaustible,' etc. It is also clarified in another way, saying that Subhuti Bodhisattva Mahasattva 'ignorance,' etc. Here, the state of affliction in the previous life is ignorance. Similarly, the state of merit, etc., is action. Similarly, in this life, the five aggregates of the moment of connection are consciousness. From the moment of connection onwards, between the sprouting of the six sense bases, are name and form. Then, as long as the three, faculty, object, and consciousness, have not come together, it is the six sense bases. As long as it does not become the meaning of completely cutting off the cause of the three feelings, it is contact. The state of experiencing happiness before sexual desire is feeling. Before the state of experiencing objects, the state of universally enjoying desirable qualities and sexual desire is craving. The state of experiencing objects is grasping. Completely running towards the cause of obtaining objects, thus accumulating the karma of rebirth, is existence. That karma will again connect in the future, which is birth. From then until the state of feeling, that state is old age and death. Thus, two at the beginning and end, and eight in the middle, are the twelve links of dependent origination, divided into three parts. 'Inexhaustible' means inexhaustible, as before. 'Abandoning the two extremes' means that it is free from permanence and annihilation. 'Seeing dependent origination without beginning or end' means that dependent origination is like an illusion.

Therefore, it should be observed as being separate from arising, ceasing, and abiding. Suchness itself should be understood as dependent arising. Saying so refers to Subhuti, such as the bodhisattva mahasattva who views in this way. Such attention is the manifestation of non-exhaustion. Skillful means is to practice dependent arising. Showing that is like saying, "How is it a bodhisattva?" etc. If so, will it become annihilation in conventional truth? Subhuti, furthermore, the bodhisattva mahasattva views dependent arising in this way, etc. "Without cause" means that in conventional truth, there is indeed a cause. "Permanent," etc., means that because there is no cause of arising in it, it is permanent. Because there is no destruction of what has arisen, it is stable. Because it does not enter into the nature of manifestation and completeness, it is steadfast. Because it is separate from obtaining other states, it is the nature of unchanging dharma. If one focuses on form, etc., how can one realize the aspect of non-exhaustion? Subhuti, "When," etc., is said, meaning that by not focusing on all dharmas such as form, and abandoning all clinging to self and dharma, it shows the function of the path of seeing. For what reason are all dharmas not seen in this way? It is said that those who think of cessation as cessation with the thought of the destruction of things, and those who think of non-arising as non-arising with the thought of the non-arising of things, their knowledge of cessation and non-arising, according to them, is not reasonable because it is separate from cessation and non-arising. Thus, in the order of what has arisen and what has not arisen, by obstructing with the characteristic of hindering cessation and arising, the unobstructed, in ultimate truth, becomes the nature of suchness, and the disputant who wrongly clings to things, by the power of your path of seeing, what is the exhaustion of what has arisen in the nature of discrimination, etc., and what is the dharma of non-arising of what has not arisen that you obtain? However, there is not even a little. Therefore, exhaust
