That is to say, as the Blessed One said, like Subhuti, for example, a son born in a certain place, possessing the nature of scattered wisdom, and so on. "Without gaps" means that in a place where water leaks, it is not blocked with bark or other things. "Without repair" means that rotten wood is not removed. "Oppressed by heavy objects" means wanting to enter the interior oppressed by heavy objects. "Without crossing to the other shore, its substance also changes" means that without reaching the land, the substances will all rot. "Completely destroyed" means completely destroyed without being obtained. "Wasted in the middle" means destroyed in the middle, and regressing from the state of Buddhahood. Welcoming the question of "how to determine that the future will exist," inferring from merely not lacking causes and conditions, and being able to be associated with them, "Subhuti, that is how it is," and so on. Mentioning that the boat has gaps and no gaps is to understand the meaning of complete and incomplete practice. Showing the difference of complete grasping summarized by three instants, that is to say, as the Blessed One said, like a certain person, and so on. Among them, because the body is already old, it is an old person. Because it has reached the age, it is aging. Because it is far from good and bad speech, it is ignorant. "Destroyed by disease" means being closely destroyed. Similarly, to the question of "why is that so," answering "that is how it is," and so on. Showing the metaphor of grasping and not grasping an old person is to clarify how those who are grasped and not grasped by Prajnaparamita and skillful means will respectively fall into or not fall into the extremes of samsara and nirvana. The explanation of Prajnaparamita, from the manifestation of the Abhisamayalankara, is the fourteenth chapter called the Chapter of Metaphors. Showing the difference of not tasting the taste is to show the summary of the four instants of the path, which is the request of the Blessed One Bodhisattva, and so on. Among them, offering the body, speech, retinue, and so on.
