It is said in this way. To the thought that "this is unreasonable," it is greeted with "Why?" and it is said like this, "This is like," etc. It is said in this way, for what reason, because of being separated from generating the habits of the mother and becoming weak, etc., therefore, it is not a state of completely questioning, etc., before. In order to clarify this, it is said, "Subhuti, furthermore," etc. The so-called "temporary" refers to being associated with a short day. The so-called "will be lost" means that it will not be weakened by the power of opposing factors. The so-called "will be taken away" means that because there are many questioners, one cannot answer. Similarly, to the question of "Why?" Subhuti answered, "It is like this," etc. It means that the result follows the cause, this is the law. It means that because one has not always questioned like before, just like "One day?" etc., this is said immediately after. Some explanations are "will follow desire," meaning that just because of the power of a short day of learning, one will become wanting to fall so much, because the result is consistent with the cause. Therefore, "distracted mind" refers to falling away from faith. "Will be discouraged" means even if one already has faith. "Will become dull" is because one has not found the separately determined Dharma. This is like the burning of cotton, because the burning is due to the accumulation of cotton, because it is similar and the same as not abiding in the Dharma, it will become like that. In the case of being sick, etc., or in the case of behavior, etc., in order, one will not follow, one will not enter, one will not show, one should say it like that. It shows the difference of the object of observation summarized by four moments, namely, Subhuti, for example

It is said "knowing" and so on, because there is no external and internal harm, so the two words "happily reaching the other shore" are spoken. That is to say, "without injury, without destruction." The so-called "abandoning in the middle" means that in the middle it will be completely destroyed and decayed. The so-called "having faith" and so on, for those who have faith, it is to truly and completely believe. The so-called "having patience" refers to patience for the unarisen dharma. The so-called "craving" refers to clinging itself. The so-called "desire" refers to the mind that wants to do. The so-called "diligence" refers to the joy of virtue. The so-called "caution" refers to practicing and not practicing good and non-good in order. The so-called "conviction" refers to clinging only to certainty. The so-called "superior intention" refers to the mind focusing on doing other things and so on. The so-called "giving" refers to giving all things together with the results. The so-called "respect" refers to bowing to everything. The so-called "joy" refers to inner happiness. The so-called "satisfaction" refers to the special aspect of joy. The so-called "purity" refers to the special aspect of faith arising from seeing the possession of qualities. The so-called "extreme joy" refers to the desire arising from being able to accomplish. The so-called "not abandoning diligence" refers to not abandoning the burden of what has been promised. The analogy of grasping and not grasping is to clearly show the unobstructed and unobstructed, all kinds of omniscience, the non-contradictory aspects and the antidote objects. Showing the difference of the support, contained in the first moment of the path, is that good fortune, for example, and so on. It is said "for example" and so on. In order to eliminate the thought of "this is unreasonable", it is greeted with "why is that", and then answered with the nature of things, that is, saying "for example, a vase" and so on. The so-called "if you take the water" means if you lift the water. Similarly, for the thought of "why is that", as before, it is said "for example, a vase" and so on, the so-called "with the perfection of wisdom and skillful means" refers to the synonym of emptiness and great compassion. Putting down and not putting down the vase is to show the nature of the support and non-support of the dharma to be accomplished. Showing the difference of the collection of causes, contained in the second moment.
