Such a nature of not disturbing does not exist. Likewise, apply to all dharmas. Feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, emptiness also does not disturb. Emptiness also does not disturb consciousness. The sense bases, the elements, and dependent origination, emptiness also does not disturb. Emptiness also does not disturb dependent origination. The perfections, and all emptiness, the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, emptiness also does not disturb. Emptiness also does not disturb the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. The noble truths, and meditation, and the immeasurable, and the formless attainments, and the liberations, and the successively abiding attainments, and emptiness, and the signless, and the wishless, and clairvoyance, and samadhi, and the doors of dharani, emptiness also does not disturb. Emptiness also does not disturb the doors of dharani. The ten powers of the Tathagata, and the four fearlessnesses, and the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, emptiness also does not disturb. Emptiness also does not disturb the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. The fruit of stream-enterer, and the fruit of once-returner, and the fruit of non-returner, and Arhatship, and solitary enlightenment, and unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, emptiness also does not disturb. Emptiness also does not disturb unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Why is that? Because for these, if like this, this is form, this is emptiness. This is feeling, and perception, and formations, and consciousness, this is emptiness. This is up to unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, this is emptiness, such a nature of disturbing does not exist. Subhuti inquired, Bhagavan.

Then, if all dharmas are without distinction, why would a Bodhisattva Mahasattva think: 'I have correctly entered into the unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment, and I shall manifestly realize perfect, complete enlightenment'? World Honored One, enlightenment is without distinction, and because it is without distinction, one cannot manifestly realize perfect, complete enlightenment. The World Honored One said: Subhuti, it is just so, it is just so. Enlightenment is without distinction, and there is no enlightenment for those who engage in duality. Subhuti, enlightenment is without duality, and because there is no duality, the enlightenment of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is enlightenment. One should not engage in duality by calling it a Bodhisattva. The enlightenment of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not engage with form, nor does it engage with feeling, perception, formations, or consciousness. It does not engage with the sense bases, the realms, or the dependent origination. It does not engage with the perfections, all emptiness, or the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. It does not engage with the noble truths, meditation, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, liberation, the successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, samadhi, or the gates of dharani. It does not engage with the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great loving-kindness, great compassion, or the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Why is that? Enlightenment is without self or what belongs to self. Should I engage with form? Or is this my form? Or should I engage with feeling, perception, formations, or consciousness? Or is this my consciousness? Or should I engage with the sense bases, the realms, or the dependent origination? Or is this my dependent origination? Or should I engage with the perfections?

Subhuti asked: Bhagavan, if that is so, the enlightenment of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not abide in grasping, nor does it abide in not grasping, then what does the enlightenment of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practice? The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, what do you think? Does the enlightenment manifested by the Tathagata abide in grasping? Does it abide in not grasping? Or is there any practice for anything? He replied: Bhagavan, it is not so. The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, what do you think? Does the mind of an Arhat's dream abide in grasping? Does it abide in not grasping? Or is there any practice for anything? He replied: Bhagavan, it is not so. Since an Arhat does not even sleep, how could there be a mind of dream, and how could it abide in grasping or not grasping to practice?
