I do not fixate even on the eighty minor marks of a Buddha. Since I do not fixate even on what is designated as the eighty minor marks, how much less would I have doubts about unsurpassed, perfect, and complete awakening? This is known as the activity of establishing in the emptiness of inherent existence. Furthermore, Mañjuśrī, for example, if an emanation of the Tathāgata were to constantly teach the Dharma for countless billions of myriads of millions of eons to a bhikṣu or bhikṣuṇī, an upāsaka or upāsikā, what do you think, Mañjuśrī? Would those emanations have a share in attaining the result of stream-entry? Would they have a share in attaining the result of once-returner, non-returner, arhatship, solitary awakening, or unsurpassed, perfect, and complete awakening? He replied: No, Blessed One, they would not. Why is that? Because for them, there is no entity. The Blessed One said: Mañjuśrī, it is just so, it is just so. If all phenomena are without entity, then which sentient being should a bodhisattva mahāsattva establish in the result of stream-entry, once-returner, non-returner, arhatship, solitary awakening, or unsurpassed, perfect, and complete awakening? Otherwise, beings who are tainted by perversion will cling to the non-perverted, be tamed, and be well-established. What is perversion? That too arises from the cause of conceptualization, therefore it is not perversion; non-conceptualization is non-perversion. For that which is without perversion, there is no self, no sentient being, no life, no goer, no nourisher, no person, no individual, no powerful one, no lord of power, no maker, no feeler, no knower, no seer. In that, there is no form, no feeling, no perception, no formations, no consciousness. In that, there are no sense bases and elements, and no dependent arising. In that, there are no perfections and all emptinesses, and no factors of awakening.

are also absent. These are the truths of the noble ones, as well as meditative stabilizations, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberations, the successive abidings of meditative stabilization, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, extrasensory perception, samādhi, and the doors of dhāraṇī. The ten powers of the Tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four particular correct knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are also absent. Likewise, there is nothing up to all-knowingness. In that, there is no form, no feeling, no perception, no formations, no consciousness, no sources, no realms, no dependent arising, no perfections, all emptinesses, and the aspects of awakening, up to unsurpassed, perfect, complete awakening. That is the emptiness of inherent existence. Abiding in that, bodhisattvas, great beings, engage in the Perfection of Wisdom. Engaging in the Perfection of Wisdom, they liberate beings from the perception of beings who have become inverted. They liberate from the perception of form. They liberate from the perception of the formless. They liberate from all contaminated dharmas. What are uncontaminated dharmas? Such as the aspects of awakening, the three doors of liberation, the four noble truths, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings of meditative stabilization, all samādhis, all the doors of dhāraṇī, the ten powers of the Tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four particular correct knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha—those are not like the ultimate reality. Thus, unconditioned, unborn, without entity, and without arising, that is the emptiness of inherent existence. That is the awakening of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, in which there is no self. Life and, the living and, the nourisher and, the person and, the individual and, the powerful and, the possessor of power and, the doer and, the feeler and, the knower and, the seer, are all nonexistent. Form is also nonexistent. Feeling and, perception and, formations and, consciousness are also nonexistent. Sense bases and, elements and, dependent origination are nonexistent. The perfections and, all of emptiness and, the factors of enlightenment are all nonexistent. Even up to all-knowingness is nonexistent. That Bodhisattva Mahasattva, except for fully knowing the emptiness of inherent nature, does not engage in the meaning of unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment for the sake of the path. That emptiness of inherent nature, from the beginning is also emptiness by inherent nature, in the future is also emptiness by inherent nature, in the middle is also emptiness by inherent nature, it is never not empty by inherent nature. Therefore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva also practices the perfection of the emptiness of inherent nature, and in order to completely liberate the sentient beings who perceive sentient beings, he practices the knowledge of the aspects of the path. When he practices the knowledge of the aspects of the path, like this, he practices the path of the Hearers and, the path of the Solitary Buddhas and, the path of the Bodhisattvas and, all paths. That Bodhisattva Mahasattva accomplishes all paths completely, ripens all sentient beings, purifies all Buddha-fields, and then, he blesses the formation of life, and manifests unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. After he manifests unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment and becomes a Buddha, like this, he does not cut off the continuum of the Buddha's nature, the emptiness of inherent nature. That is the Buddha-dharma of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, whatever Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have appeared in the past, their Buddha-dharma is also like this, the emptiness of inherent nature. Whatever Buddhas, the Bhagavat, will appear in the future,
