The perception of the samadhi without perception, the eight liberations, and the nine successive abidings in meditative absorption are two. The perception of the samadhi with investigation and analysis, the samadhi without investigation but only with analysis, and the samadhi without investigation and without analysis are two. The noble truth of suffering, the noble truth of the origin, the noble truth of cessation, the noble truth of the path, knowing suffering, knowing the origin, knowing cessation, knowing the path, knowing exhaustion, knowing non-arising, knowing the Dharma, knowing following, knowing conventional truth, knowing familiarity, and knowing the perception of sound as it is are two. The perception of all perfections and all emptiness is two. The six superknowledges, all samadhis, all dharani gates, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the perception up to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are two. The perception of a stream-enterer, a once-returner, a non-returner, an Arhat, a Pratyekabuddha, a Bodhisattva, and a supreme perfect Buddha is two. The perception of the conditioned realm and the perception of the unconditioned realm are two. Subhuti, thus, all those that are with perception and all those that are without perception are two. As much as there is duality, that much is substance. As much as there is substance, that much is samsara. As much as there is samsara, that much beings are born, age, get sick, die, grieve, lament, suffer, are unhappy, and are not completely liberated from disturbance. Not attending to all perceptions is non-dual. Subhuti, by those means, thus, for those with dualistic perceptions, there is no generosity, no ethics, no patience, no diligence, no meditation.
