He does not aspire to such a fruit. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, from the moment of first generating the mind, he cultivates wisdom with an attention that is endowed with all-knowingness, so that wisdom does not become scattered, is not led astray by others, and is free from clinging to self and clinging to what belongs to self, and is free from clinging to 'I', 'sentient being', 'life', 'nourisher', 'person', 'individual', 'being born of strength', 'child', 'doer', 'feeler', 'knower', 'seer', and is free from clinging to all emptiness, becoming unchangeable and without conceptualization. Why is that? Subhuti, it is because he knows that all phenomena are empty of their own nature, and sees all phenomena as non-existent, unborn, unfulfilled, and unmanifest. When entering the Dharma-nature of all phenomena, he also enters with the nature of non-action, considering that all phenomena have no power whatsoever. Because he possesses such skillful means, he practices the Perfection of Wisdom with the increase of virtuous roots. He practices the Perfection of Wisdom and brings sentient beings to maturity, and purifies the Buddha-fields. Otherwise, apart from practicing the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of completely saving all sentient beings and bringing sentient beings to maturity, he does not aspire to enjoy the fruit of wisdom completely in samsara. Furthermore, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva enters the first dhyana, enters the second dhyana, enters the third dhyana, enters the fourth dhyana, enters the immeasurables, and enters the samadhi of the formless absorptions, but does not cling to their fully ripened results. Why is that? It is because he possesses skillful means; with that skillful means, the dhyanas, the immeasurables, and the samadhi of the formless absorptions are of their own nature.

Also knows it as emptiness. Knows it as non-existent, unborn, incomplete, and unmanifest. Also enters into the dharma-nature of all dharmas, and enters into the very nature of the activity of all dharmas as having little power. Endowed with that skillful means, it increases through virtuous dharmas. When it increases through virtuous dharmas, it enters into meditative stabilization and formless attainments. Furthermore, Subhuti, from the time a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva generates the first thought, being closely held and endowed with skillful means, even though practicing the path to be abandoned by seeing and meditating, they do not attain the fruit of stream-entry, do not attain the fruit of once-returner, do not attain the fruit of non-returner, do not attain the state of Arhat, and do not attain self-awakening. Why is that? Because they know that all dharmas are empty of their own nature, and they know that all dharmas are non-existent, unborn, incomplete, and unmanifest. They practice those dharmas of the aspects of awakening, and they completely transcend the grounds of Hearers and the grounds of Solitary Buddhas. Subhuti, this is the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva's tolerance of the unborn dharmas. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, they enter into the eight liberations, enter into the nine successive abidings of meditative stabilization, contemplate the four noble truths, and enter into emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, but do not attain the fruit of stream-entry, do not attain the fruit of once-returner, do not attain the fruit of non-returner, do not attain the state of Arhat, and do not attain self-awakening. Why is that? Because they know that all dharmas are empty of their own nature. They know that all dharmas are non-existent and unborn. They know that all dharmas are incomplete. They know that all dharmas are unmanifest. They also enter into the dharma-nature of all dharmas, and enter into the very nature of the activity of all dharmas as being slightly non-active.

He enters. He, endowed with that skillful means, increases through virtuous dharmas. He increases through virtuous dharmas, that is, he practices liberation, samadhi, equipoise, noble truths, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. When he practices liberation, samadhi, equipoise, noble truths, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, he transcends the status of hearers and solitary buddhas. Subhuti, this is the patience of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva in the non-arising of dharmas. Furthermore, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva becomes fully familiar with the ten powers of the Tathagata, fully familiar with the four fearlessnesses and the four analytical knowledges, fully familiar with the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, and fully familiar with great love and great compassion. He does not attain perfect omniscience until the Buddha-field is not completely purified and sentient beings are not completely ripened. Why is that? Thus, he knows that all dharmas are empty of their own nature. He sees that all dharmas are non-existent, unborn, and unmanifested. He also enters into the nature of all dharmas, and also enters into the very non-attention to the nature of the concept of all dharmas. He, endowed with skillful means, increases through virtuous dharmas. When he increases through virtuous dharmas, he practices the ten powers, fearlessnesses, analytical knowledges, unshared qualities of a Buddha, as well as great love and great compassion, and makes the Buddha-field completely pure. Sentient beings also become completely ripened. Subhuti, thus a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should practice the Perfection of Wisdom. Asked: Blessed One, even though a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices such profound dharmas, does he fully mature
