Thus knowing, this Prajñāpāramitā, is that which completely holds all virtuous dharmas, and in a non-abiding manner, wherever the Omniscient One dwells, that is where it abides. This is called the subsequent conceptualization. With these, the second kind of grasping conceptualization, the nine aspects, are taught. Request: Blessed One, does the Prajñāpāramitā have any dharma to hold or abandon? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is not so. The Prajñāpāramitā does not hold or abandon any dharma. Why is that? Subhuti, it is because all dharmas are without holding and without abandoning. Request: Blessed One, how does the Prajñāpāramitā not hold or abandon all dharmas? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā does not hold or abandon form. Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā does not hold or abandon feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā does not hold or abandon the sense bases, elements, and dependent origination. Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā does not hold or abandon all perfections, all emptinesses, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā does not hold or abandon the noble truths, meditative stabilizations, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberations, the nine progressive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, superknowledges, samādhis, and the doors of dhāraṇī. Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā does not hold or abandon the ten powers, four fearlessnesses, four analytical knowledges, great loving-kindness, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Subhuti, the Prajñāpāramitā is the unsurpassed.

That which is said to be completely non-grasping and non-abandoning until the attainment of perfect enlightenment is the conceptualization of the aspects of grasping and abandoning. Question: Blessed One, how is form completely ungrasped and unabandoned? How are feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness completely ungrasped and unabandoned? How is it that until the attainment of all-knowingness, it is completely ungrasped and unabandoned? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because form is not taken to mind, form is completely ungrasped and unabandoned. Feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are not taken to mind, therefore consciousness is completely ungrasped and unabandoned. The twelve sources, the eighteen elements, and dependent origination are not taken to mind, therefore dependent origination is completely ungrasped and unabandoned. All the perfections, all of emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are not taken to mind, therefore the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are completely ungrasped and unabandoned. The noble truths, meditative stabilizations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine sequential abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, supernormal knowledges, samadhi, and the gateways of dharani are not taken to mind, therefore the gateways of dharani are completely ungrasped and unabandoned. The ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical understandings, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are not taken to mind, therefore the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are completely ungrasped and unabandoned. Until the attainment of all-knowingness, it is not taken to mind, therefore all-knowingness is completely ungrasped and unabandoned.
