Why is that? World Honored One, the so-called Prajnaparamita is non-discriminating, which refers to the discrimination of the object of focus. World Honored One, for example, the Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly enlightened Buddha, has no change in what is lovely or unlovely. World Honored One, similarly, Prajnaparamita has no change in what is lovely or unlovely, which refers to the discrimination of incompatibility and the opposing side. World Honored One, for example, the Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly enlightened Buddha, has abandoned all discriminations. World Honored One, similarly, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices Prajnaparamita, he also abandons all discriminations. Why is that? World Honored One, the so-called Prajnaparamita is non-discriminating, which refers to the discrimination of one's own discriminations. World Honored One, for example, the emanation of the Tathagata would not think like this: from me, the Hearer's ground or the Solitary Buddha's ground is far away, and the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is near. Why is that? World Honored One, the Tathagata and the emanation of the Tathagata are non-discriminating.

That which is called "non-conceptual, non-non-conceptual" is the conceptualization of action. World-Honored One, for example, a skilled carpenter or a skilled carpenter's apprentice might construct a mechanical device in the shape of a woman, a man, an elephant, a horse, or an ox. Although the purpose for which it was made is accomplished, the device itself is non-conceptual. World-Honored One, similarly, the Perfection of Wisdom, although it accomplishes the purpose for which it is spoken, is non-conceptual. That which is called "non-conceptual" is the conceptualization of action together with its result. These are the nine aspects of the first conceptualization of grasping, which is the support for the aspect of entering. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the World-Honored One, "World-Honored One, how long has a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such skillful means been rightly engaged?" The World-Honored One replied, "Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such skillful means has been rightly engaged for countless billions of kalpas. He asked, "World-Honored One, how many Buddhas has a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such skillful means attended and honored?" The World-Honored One replied, "Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such skillful means should be known to have attended and honored as many Buddhas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River. He asked, "World-Honored One, what virtuous roots has a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such skillful means accumulated?" The World-Honored One replied, "From the arising of the first thought onwards, there is no such thing as an action of the Perfection of Giving that a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses skillful means has not completely perfected. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva has not completely perfected the action of the Perfection of Morality, the action of the Perfection of Patience, and the action of Diligence.

There is no act of giving paramita, no act of meditation paramita, and no act of wisdom paramita. He said: World Honored One, it is wonderful that the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is endowed with such skillful means! The World Honored One said: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. It is wonderful that the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is endowed with such skillful means!
