One does not think thus, this is the discrimination of self-nature. World-Honored One, for example, the sky does not think thus: I am far from so-and-so, and near to so-and-so. Why is that? World-Honored One, because the sky has no distinctions, is unmoving, and has no discriminations. World-Honored One, similarly, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he also does not think thus: For me, the ground of a Hearer or a Solitary Buddha is far, and Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment is near. Why is that? World-Honored One, because the Perfection of Wisdom is without discrimination, this is the discrimination of lineage. World-Honored One, for example, a person of illusion does not think thus: For me, illusion is far, the illusionist is near, is the gathering of such a crowd of people far from me? Is it near? Why is that? World-Honored One, because the person of illusion is without discrimination. World-Honored One, because the Perfection of Wisdom is without discrimination, this is the discrimination of true accomplishment. World-Honored One, for example, an image does not think thus: For me, that from which the image arises is near, and that which arises in a mirror and a container filled with water is far from me. Why is that? World-Honored One, because the image is without discrimination. World-Honored One, similarly, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he also does not think thus: For me, the ground of a Hearer or a Solitary Buddha is far, and Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment is near.
