Asked: Blessed One, what is the nature of the Perfection of Wisdom? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, the nature of being unformed like the sky is the Perfection of Wisdom. Subhuti, the Perfection of Wisdom is without nature; there is no nature whatsoever in the Perfection of Wisdom. Asked: Blessed One, by what nature, the nature by which the Perfection of Wisdom exists, will all phenomena exist? Does such a category exist? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is indeed so. It is indeed so, by whatever nature the Perfection of Wisdom exists, by that very nature all phenomena exist. Why is that? Subhuti, all phenomena are by nature empty; all phenomena are empty of all phenomena. All phenomena are empty of all phenomena. Subhuti, therefore, in this way, the nature of emptiness and the nature of voidness, by whatever nature the Perfection of Wisdom exists, by that nature all phenomena exist. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, if all phenomena are void of all phenomena, and all phenomena are empty of all phenomena, then how will the defilement and purification of sentient beings exist? Blessed One, voidness does not become defilement, nor does it become purification. Emptiness does not become defilement, nor does it become purification. Voidness and emptiness do not fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, because voidness, by voidness, does not perceive any phenomenon in emptiness. Voidness, in emptiness, does not perceive any sentient being fully awakening to enlightenment. If it is not so, how should I understand the meaning of what the Blessed One has taught? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Have sentient beings long been attached to what is called self and what belongs to self? Answered: Blessed One, it is so. Sugata, it is so, sentient beings have long been attached to what is called self and what belongs to self. Blessed One.

said: Rahula, what do you think? Are I and what I own solitary and empty? He replied: Blessed One, it is solitary. Sugata, it is empty. The Blessed One said: Rahula, what do you think? Do sentient beings run around and wander around because of I and what I own? He replied: Blessed One, that is so. Sugata, that is so. Sentient beings run around and wander around because of I and what I own. The Blessed One said: Rahula, in that case, sentient beings have afflictions. For those who have no self and nothing to own, there is no clinging. For those who have no clinging, sentient beings do not run around and wander around. Because he has no afflictions whatsoever. Rahula, in that case, sentient beings have purification. This is the eleventh sign. He replied: Blessed One, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in that way does not practice in form, nor does he practice in feeling, perception, formations, or consciousness. He does not practice in the sense bases, elements, or dependent origination. He does not practice in the perfection of generosity, nor does he practice in the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, or the perfection of wisdom. He does not practice in inner emptiness, nor does he practice in the emptiness of the nature of non-things. He does not practice in mindfulness, right exertion, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, or the eightfold noble path. He does not practice in the noble truths, meditation, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberations, gradual abiding absorptions, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, samadhi, or the gates of dharani. He does not practice in the powers of the Tathagata, fearlessness, separate correct knowledge, or great love.

, as well as great compassion, it is not used in places where it is not confused with the Buddha's teachings, and it is not used up to the point of omniscience. What is the reason for that? Because it is like this, all those dharmas for where it is used, and with what it is used, and where it will be used, are all unattainable. World Honored One, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in that way cannot be overcome by the world with gods, humans, and asuras. World Honored One, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in that way cannot be overpowered by all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. What is the reason for that? Because it is like this, just as the Bodhisattva abides in a faultless place, he is not overpowered by power. World Honored One, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who is inseparable from remembering omniscience is invincible. World Honored One, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in that way is close to omniscience. This is called the twelfth sign, and these are the signs that are spoken of. The Peak Combination of Increase. The World Honored One said: Subhuti, suppose all the sentient beings in Jambudvipa were to obtain human bodies without any sequence, and they all attained complete enlightenment in unsurpassed perfect enlightenment and became Buddhas, and while they lived, a son or daughter of good family would serve them, honor them, respect them, and make offerings to them, and also dedicate that root of virtue entirely to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Subhuti, what do you think? Would that son or daughter of good family increase a great deal of merit because of that? He replied: World Honored One, yes, a lot. Sugata, yes, a lot. The World Honored One said: Subhuti, even more so, whether it is a son or daughter of good family, if they explain, teach, analyze, thoroughly analyze, interpret, differentiate, clarify, and correctly indicate this Prajnaparamita to others, as well as the Prajnaparamita
