Do not focus on all things, all emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. Do not focus on the noble truths, meditation, the four immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine sequential abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, samadhi, and the gateways of dharani. Do not focus on the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. How can roots of virtue increase without focusing on them, even up to the state of omniscience? How can the six perfections be perfected if the roots of virtue do not increase? How can omniscience be attained if the six perfections are not perfected? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, do not focus on form. Do not focus on feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness. Do not focus on the twelve sources, the eighteen elements, and dependent origination. Do not focus on all the perfections, all emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. If one does not focus on them, even up to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, then the roots of virtue of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva will increase. As the roots of virtue increase, the six perfections will be perfected. As the six perfections are perfected, omniscience will be attained. Why is that? Because one does not focus on form,

If, when Subhuti Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not mix with any dharma, this is called the conceptualization related to all three realms. Question: World Honored One, where will the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom in this way abide? The World Honored One said: Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way will not abide in form, nor will he abide in feeling, perception, formation, or consciousness, nor will he abide in the twelve sense bases, the eighteen realms, or dependent origination, nor will he abide in all the Perfections, all emptinesses, or the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, nor will he abide in the Four Noble Truths, meditative concentration, the Four Immeasurables, the Formless Absorptions, the Liberations, the Successive Abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, superknowledges, samadhi, or the doors of dharani. He will not abide in the Ten Powers, the Four Fearlessnesses, the Four Analytical Understandings, or the Eighteen Unshared Dharmas of the Buddha, nor will he abide even in the All-Knowingness. This is called the conceptualization of abiding. Question: World Honored One, why does he not abide even in the All-Knowingness? The World Honored One said: Because there is no attachment, he does not abide anywhere. Why is that? Because he does not see any dharma that can be attached to or abided in. Subhuti, in this way, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom in a way that is without attachment and without abiding. This is called the conceptualization of attachment to things. If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thinks, "To practice and cultivate in this way is to practice the Perfection of Wisdom," then
