能成办。又与一切种智极近之。 五十二品 善现,又菩萨摩诃萨行六波罗蜜多时,若见无光之有情,应如是善观察:云何我于无上正等菩提现证圆满成佛之佛土中,一切有情各自皆有光明生起,如是如是应行六波罗蜜多。应令佛土完全清净。应令有情完全成熟。如是应善观察。善现,如是行之菩萨摩诃萨,六波罗蜜多亦能圆满,又与一切种智极近之。 善现,又菩萨摩诃萨行六波罗蜜多时,若见有情之昼夜及月、半月及双月与年等,应如是善观察:云何我于无上正等菩提现证圆满成佛之佛土中,有情之昼夜及月、半月及双月与年之声亦不闻,亦无有,如是如是应行六波罗蜜多。应令佛土完全清净。应令有情完全成熟,如是应善观察。善现,如是行之菩萨摩诃萨,六波罗蜜多亦能圆满,又与一切种智极近之。 善现,又菩萨摩诃萨行六波罗蜜多时,若见有情不具寿命者,应如是善观察:云何我于无上正等菩提现证圆满成佛之佛土中,一切有情皆成无量寿,如是如是应行六波罗蜜多。应

Chapter Fifty-Two Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the six perfections, if he sees sentient beings without light, he should thoroughly examine them in this way: How can I, in the Buddha-field where I manifest and perfectly awaken to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, cause all sentient beings to have light arising from each of them? Thus, thus should I practice the six perfections. I shall make the Buddha-field completely pure. I shall make sentient beings completely mature. Thus should he thoroughly examine. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way also perfects the six perfections, and is also very close to the Omniscient One. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the six perfections, if he sees sentient beings' days and nights, months, fortnights, bimonthly periods, and years, he should thoroughly examine them in this way: How can I, in the Buddha-field where I manifest and perfectly awaken to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, cause the sounds of sentient beings' days and nights, months, fortnights, bimonthly periods, and years not to be heard and not to exist? Thus, thus should I practice the six perfections. I shall make the Buddha-field completely pure. I shall make sentient beings completely mature. Thus should he thoroughly examine. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way also perfects the six perfections, and is also very close to the Omniscient One. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the six perfections, if he sees sentient beings who do not possess life, he should thoroughly examine them in this way: How can I, in the Buddha-field where I manifest and perfectly awaken to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, cause all sentient beings to become immeasurable in life?
