Thus, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way also perfects the six perfections and comes closer to the state of omniscience. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the six perfections, if he sees sentient beings with pride, he should contemplate in this way: "In whatever way, in that Buddha-field where I will manifest and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, may there not even be the sound of pride, and may all sentient beings understand the true meaning and be without pride." In that way, he should practice the six perfections, purify the Buddha-field, and ripen sentient beings. Subhuti, he should contemplate in this way. Thus, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way also perfects the six perfections and comes closer to the state of omniscience. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the six perfections, he should contemplate in this way: "In whatever way, in that Buddha-field where I will manifest and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, if life is limited, light is limited, and the Sangha of monks is limited, I will not attain perfect and complete enlightenment. In whatever way, in that Buddha-field where I will manifest and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, may life become immeasurable, light become immeasurable, and the Sangha of monks become immeasurable." In that way, he should practice the six perfections, purify the Buddha-field, and ripen sentient beings. Subhuti, he should contemplate in this way. Thus, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way also perfects the six perfections and comes closer to the state of omniscience. Furthermore, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva

When a Bodhisattva practices the six perfections, he should thoroughly examine it in this way: Just because some world realms become my Buddha-field, I should not fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. It is essential that when I fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, as many world realms as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River become a single Buddha-field; in that way, the six perfections should be practiced. The Buddha-field should be completely purified. Sentient beings should be completely ripened. Thus, it should be thoroughly examined. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way also completely perfects the six perfections and is also close to omniscience. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the six perfections, he should thoroughly examine it in this way: Alas, this samsara is so long! Alas, this realm of sentient beings is so limitless! Therefore, he should properly apply his mind in this way: Alas, this samsara is as limitless as the sky! Alas, this realm of sentient beings is as limitless as the sky, because in it there is neither samsara nor nirvana. Other than that, in terms of the designation of Dharma, sentient beings, or samsara, or nirvana, are merely nominal designations. Thus, it should be thoroughly examined. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way also completely perfects the six perfections and is close to omniscience. Then, in that assembly, a woman named the Ganges Goddess, who was gathered and sitting there, rose from her seat, draped her upper garment over one shoulder, knelt on her right knee, and, with her palms joined, bowed in the direction of the Blessed One and said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, I, too, will perfect the six perfections, the Prajnaparamita spoken of by the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly and Completely Awakened One.

From then on, she vowed to fully possess the Buddha-field as described in the scriptures. That woman threw gold flowers, silver flowers, flowers that grow in water, flowers that grow on land, all ornaments, and golden clothes together in the direction where the Bhagavan was. The moment the flowers, ornaments, and clothes were thrown, by the power of the Buddha, a four-sided pavilion appeared in the sky directly above the Bhagavan's head, with four pillars standing symmetrically, very hidden, radiant, and pleasing to the eye. Then, that woman also shared that pavilion with all sentient beings and fully dedicated it to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Then, the Bhagavan understood the mind of that woman and smiled. This is the nature of all Buddhas, the Bhagavat, when they smile, various kinds of rays of light emanate from the mouth of the Bhagavan, such as blue, yellow, red, white, light red, crystal, and silver. These rays entered the endless and limitless realms of the world, and then returned, circumambulating the Bhagavan three times from the right side, and disappeared into the crown of the Bhagavan's head. Then, the venerable Ananda draped his upper garment over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with his palms joined together, bowed in the direction where the Bhagavan was, and said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, without a cause and condition, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, does not smile. What is the cause of the smile? What is the condition?" The Bhagavan said: "Ananda, this woman named the Ganges goddess, in the future kalpa called Star Constellation, a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One named Golden Flower will appear in the world. Ananda, this woman is in her last female rebirth."
