Form is dependent, form is accumulated, form is without essence, therefore one should practice the Perfection of Wisdom. Feeling, perception, formations, and the four aspects of consciousness, consciousness is dependent, consciousness is accumulated, consciousness is without essence, therefore one should practice the Perfection of Wisdom. The sense bases, the elements, and dependent origination are peaceful, dependent origination is dependent, dependent origination is accumulated, dependent origination is without essence, therefore one should practice the Perfection of Wisdom. This is the conceptualization of not knowing the path of application. Furthermore, if one says, "How should one realize the Perfection of Wisdom?" it means that by realizing the emptiness of space, one realizes the Perfection of Wisdom. This is the conceptualization of not knowing the path of seeing. If one says, "How should one meditate on the Perfection of Wisdom?" it means that by meditating on the emptiness of space, one meditates on the Perfection of Wisdom. This is the conceptualization of not knowing the path of meditation. These are the nine aspects of the first conceptualization of the object of grasping that have been taught. The Venerable Subhuti asked: "Bhagavan, for how long should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practice the Perfection of Wisdom in order to practice the Perfection of Wisdom?" The Bhagavan replied: "From the arising of the first thought until abiding in the essence of enlightenment," which is the conceptualization of not generating the mind of enlightenment. Until abiding in the essence of enlightenment, one should practice the Perfection of Wisdom. In this way, one should realize it; in this way, one should meditate on it. This is the conceptualization of not attending to the essence of enlightenment. He asked: "Bhagavan, how can one practice the Perfection of Wisdom without allowing an opportunity for other minds?" The Bhagavan replied: "By not allowing an opportunity for other intentions, one practices the Perfection of Wisdom."

To be practiced. To be manifestly attained is the Perfection of Wisdom. To be cultivated is the Perfection of Wisdom, this is the conceptualization of attending to the vehicle of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Subhuti, as one does not abandon attending to all-aspects-knowing, just as mind and mental events do not arise, so should one engage in the Perfection of Wisdom. One should engage in the Perfection of Wisdom. One should manifestly attain the Perfection of Wisdom. One should cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom. The questioner asks: Blessed One, how does one engage in the Perfection of Wisdom, and manifestly attain the Perfection of Wisdom, and cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom, so that one will obtain all-aspects-knowing? The Blessed One replied: That is not so, this is the conceptualization of not attending to perfect and complete enlightenment. The questioner asks: If so, how does cultivation lead to obtaining all-aspects-knowing? The Blessed One replied: Subhuti, that is not so, this is the conceptualization of cultivation. The questioner asks: If so, how does non-cultivation lead to obtaining all-aspects-knowing? The Blessed One replied: That is not so, this is the conceptualization of non-cultivation. The questioner asks: Blessed One, if so, does cultivating and also not cultivating lead to obtaining all-aspects-knowing? The Blessed One replied: That is not so. The questioner asks: If so, is it that neither cultivating nor not cultivating leads to obtaining all-aspects-knowing? The Blessed One The Blessed One replied: That is not so, this is the conceptualization of neither cultivating nor not cultivating. The questioner asks: Blessed One, if so, how does one obtain all-aspects-knowing? The Blessed One replied: Suchness is just as it is. The questioner asks: What is suchness like? The Blessed One replied: The ultimate limit of reality is just as it is. The questioner asks: What is the ultimate limit of reality like? The Blessed One replied: Dharma.
