般若波罗蜜多二万颂。 般若波罗蜜多二万颂。 有寂平等之结合。 般若波罗蜜多二万颂，五十品。 善现，你意谓如何？ 菩萨摩诃萨若离般若波罗蜜多，于恒河沙数劫中，供养预流、一来、不还、阿罗汉、独觉、以及如来应供正遍知诸佛，善现，你意谓如何？ 彼菩萨摩诃萨由此因缘，福德增长耶？ 回答：世尊，甚多。善逝，甚多。 此乃大相违品之中等。 世尊告曰：善现，较此，若有善男子或善女子，于此甚深般若波罗蜜多如所宣说而勤精进，彼之福德增长尤多。 何以故？ 盖缘行此般若波罗蜜多之菩萨摩诃萨，已超声闻及独觉之地，无过失地进入菩萨位，且现证无上正等菩提也。 此乃能治品之小等。 善现，你意谓如何？ 菩萨摩诃萨若离般若波罗蜜多，于恒河沙数劫中，安住而行布施、持戒、忍辱、精进、静虑、修慧，彼由此因缘，福德增长耶？ 回答：世尊，甚多。善逝，甚多。 此乃大相违品之小品。 世尊告曰：善现，较此，若有善男子或善女子，安住于如所宣说之甚深般若波罗蜜多，仅于数日之间行布施、持戒、

If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, separated from the Perfection of Wisdom, were to dwell for as many eons as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, and offer gifts to those who have entered the stream, those who return once, those who do not return, Arhats, Solitary Buddhas, and Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, Subhuti, what do you think? Would that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva increase their merit through that cause? He replied: Bhagavan, much so. Sugata, much so. This is the medium of the great opposing side. The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, even more so, if a son or daughter of good family were to diligently apply themselves to this profound Perfection of Wisdom as it is taught, their merit would increase greatly. Why is that? Because the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices this Perfection of Wisdom transcends the grounds of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, enters the flawless Bodhisattva stage, and will manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the medium of the small antidote side. Subhuti, what do you think? If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, separated from the Perfection of Wisdom, were to dwell for as many eons as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, and give charity, keep morality, practice patience, exert effort, abide in meditative concentration, and cultivate wisdom, would their merit increase greatly through that cause? He replied: Bhagavan, much so. Sugata, much so. This is the small of the great opposing side. The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, even more so, if a son or daughter of good family were to abide in this profound Perfection of Wisdom as it is taught, and for a few days give charity and keep morality,

Guarding, practicing patience, initiating diligence, abiding in meditative concentration, and cultivating wisdom, the merit of that will increase greatly. What is the reason for that? Subhuti, this is the mother of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, like this, it is the Prajnaparamita. This is the generator of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, like this, it is the Prajnaparamita. Having abided in this Prajnaparamita, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas accomplish all Dharmas completely, and manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. This is called the great of the small of the antidote. Subhuti, what do you think? If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, separated from the Prajnaparamita, abides for as many eons as the sands of the Ganges River and gives Dharma teachings, would that son or daughter of good family increase much merit through that? He replied: Bhagavan, much. Sugata, much. This is called the great of the medium of the dissimilar. The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, even more than that, if a son or daughter of good family, relying on this Prajnaparamita, abides as it is taught, and gives Dharma teachings for some days, then through that, much merit will increase. What is the reason for that? Subhuti, like this, a great Bodhisattva who is not separated from the Prajnaparamita is not separated from the knowledge of all aspects. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who is not separated from the Prajnaparamita is not separated from the knowledge of all aspects. Subhuti, therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment should not be separated from the Prajnaparamita. This is called the small of the medium of the antidote. Subhuti, what do you think? If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who is separated from the Prajnaparamita
