Appears as emptiness. Appears as prayer. Appears as healing. Appears as devoid of essence. Why is that? Subhuti, thus the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is extremely trained in internal emptiness. Extremely trained between the emptiness of the nature of non-things, this is called the middle of the great antidote. Subhuti, that Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in those emptinesses, and howsoever they manifestly act, howsoever they thoroughly understand those, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva will thus not be separated from the Prajnaparamita. Howsoever the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is not separated from the Prajnaparamita, thus will increase immeasurable, limitless, boundless merit, this is called the smallest of the small of the unfavorable side thrown by the power of meaning, the greatest of the great of the great antidote. This is because it abides in the path of meditation, therefore it shows the sign of non-retrogression. Asked: Blessed One, what is the difference between countless, immeasurable, and boundless? What is the difference? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, the so-called countless is that which cannot be approached to be counted in the realm of conditioned or unconditioned. Subhuti, the so-called immeasurable is that which does not fix a measure on the past, future, and present dharmas. Subhuti, the so-called boundless is that which cannot be measured by any other means. Asked: Blessed One, by what means does form also become countless, immeasurable, boundless? Feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness also become countless, immeasurable, boundless? Is there such a means? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, by some means, form also becomes countless, immeasurable, boundless, and feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness also become countless, immeasurable, boundless, there is such a means.

The term "exists" is the characteristic of closely representing the innumerable and so forth. Question: World Honored One, by what number does form also become innumerable, immeasurable, and boundless? Do feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness also become innumerable, immeasurable, and boundless? The World Honored One taught: Subhuti, form is also emptiness, that is, innumerable, immeasurable, and boundless. Feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness are also emptiness, that is, innumerable, immeasurable, and boundless. Question: World Honored One, is it only that form is empty, and feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness are empty, so that all dharmas are not empty? The World Honored One taught: Subhuti, what do you think? Have I not said that all dharmas are empty? Question: World Honored One, the Thus Come One has said that all dharmas are empty, and what is called emptiness is extinction, which is also innumerable, also immeasurable, also boundless. World Honored One, in emptiness, there is no perception of extinction, no perception of number, no perception of measurement, and no perception of limit. World Honored One, therefore, it is not visible to distinguish these dharmas by meaning or words. This is the question raised about explaining the innumerable and so forth. The World Honored One taught: Subhuti, it is so, it is so, it is not visible to distinguish these dharmas by meaning or words. Subhuti, however, for the unspeakable meaning, whether the Thus Come One says "inexhaustible," or "innumerable," or "immeasurable," or "boundless," or "emptiness," or "wishlessness," or "unconditioned," or "unborn," or "desirelessness," or "unextinguished," or "nirvana," whatever is manifested in this way is what the Thus Come One proclaims by the cause and condition of great compassion. This is the answer given with the admission of debate as a prerequisite. Question: World Honored One, the Dharma-nature of all dharmas is by the Thus Come One

The dharmata of the teachings is also unspeakable, which is truly wonderful! As I understand the meaning spoken by the Bhagavan, Bhagavan, all dharmas are unspeakable. The Bhagavan declared: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. Subhuti, all dharmas are unspeakable. Subhuti, the unspeakability of all dharmas is emptiness, and there is no speech in emptiness, emptiness is unspeakable. He reported: Bhagavan, is there increase or complete decrease in the meaning of unspeakability? The Bhagavan declared: Subhuti, it is not so. Subhuti, there is no increase or complete decrease in the meaning of unspeakability. He reported: Bhagavan, if there is no increase or complete decrease in the meaning of unspeakability, Bhagavan, then the perfection of generosity also has no increase or complete decrease. The perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, the perfection of wisdom also have no complete decrease. Bhagavan, inner emptiness also has no increase and complete decrease. Outer emptiness, inner and outer emptiness, and even the emptiness of the nature of non-things, also have no increase and complete decrease. Bhagavan, the four mindfulnesses also have no increase and decrease. Right exertion, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path also have no increase and decrease. The noble truths, meditation, immeasurables, formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine sequential abidings, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness also have no increase and complete decrease. The superknowledges, the samadhis, and the doors of form also have no increase and complete decrease.
