It is neither possessing nor not possessing. The Tathagata's ten powers, four fearlessnesses, four analytical knowledges, and eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha are neither possessing nor not possessing. Even up to the all-knowingness, it is neither possessing nor not possessing. The realm of conditioned phenomena is neither possessing nor not possessing. The realm of unconditioned phenomena is neither possessing nor not possessing. Why is that? Because whatever becomes possessing or not possessing, such a nature does not exist. Whatever does not have a nature, that is non-entity. A non-entity neither possesses nor does not possess a non-entity; now all phenomena should be known. Subhuti, this is the concise meaning for Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who is a beginner should learn this concise Perfection of Wisdom. Abiding in the tenth Bodhisattva ground, one should learn the concise meaning. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who studies this concise meaning will be able to extensively know the sutras and meanings of all phenomena. Asked: World Honored One, this is what Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas with sharp faculties can realize. The World Honored One said: Subhuti, this is also what Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas with dull faculties can realize. That is also what Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas with middling faculties can realize. This is also what Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas with equal faculties can realize. There is no Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who desires to learn who cannot realize this. This is not what a lazy person can realize, not what a person with weak diligence can realize, not what a person with impaired mindfulness can realize, not what a person with a disturbed mind can realize. This is what one who has initiated diligence, is without laziness, and has established mindfulness can realize. One who desires to learn in the irreversible stage and desires to attain all-knowingness will realize it, this is the concise meaning.

It is the conceptualization of not knowing the aspects of increase and expansion. If, after studying and practicing the Perfection of Wisdom as taught, one also attains the Perfection of Generosity, the Perfection of Discipline, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom; and between inner emptiness, outer-inner emptiness, and the emptiness of the nature of non-things; and the mindfulness, the perfect abandonment, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path; that is, one attains the noble truths, meditation, the immeasurable, the formless absorptions, liberation, samadhi, and the doors of dharani; and one attains emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and clairvoyance; and one attains the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four individual perfect knowledges, and the eighteen unmixed qualities of a Buddha; and even up to the attainment of all-knowingness, then when that Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, whatever deeds of Mara may arise, all of those will be completely abandoned at the very moment they arise. Therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to be completely embraced by skillful means should study the Perfection of Wisdom. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, meditates on the Perfection of Wisdom, and exerts himself in the Perfection of Wisdom, then in countless world realms, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who dwell and sustain, and teach the Dharma, also pay attention to that Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? It is because the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, the future, and the present, arise from these six perfections.

Those who have passed away. Therefore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing in the Perfection of Wisdom, should thoroughly examine it in this way: 'Whatever Dharma has been attained, is being attained, or will be attained by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present, may I also attain those Dharmas.' Thus should he examine it. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing in the Perfection of Wisdom, should strive in that way. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who is striving now will quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Subhuti, therefore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should never be separated from the thought of all-knowingness. If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices in this way for the sake of all-knowingness, even meditating on the Perfection of Wisdom for as little as the snap of a finger, the merit of that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva will greatly increase. Moreover, it is not like satisfying all the sentient beings abiding in the three-thousand great-thousand world realms with generosity, establishing them in discipline, establishing them in samadhi, establishing them in wisdom, establishing them in liberation, establishing them in the vision of the wisdom of liberation, establishing them in the fruit of stream-entry, establishing them in the fruit of once-returner, establishing them in the fruit of non-returner, establishing them in the state of Arhat, and establishing them in solitary enlightenment. The merit of meditating on this profound Perfection of Wisdom for as little as the snap of a finger is far greater. Why is that? Because generosity, discipline, samadhi, wisdom, liberation, the vision of the wisdom of liberation, the fruit of stream-entry, the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, the state of Arhat, and solitary enlightenment all arise from this. All the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, in the realms of the ten directions
