That which is called "Nāno" is the fifteenth increase. Furthermore, if one thinks, "This is the Prajñāpāramitā. The Prajñāpāramitā is here. This Prajñāpāramitā will accomplish the state of all-knowing," if one understands in this way, one does not practice the Prajñāpāramitā. If there is no understanding that "This is the Prajñāpāramitā. The Prajñāpāramitā is here," then who will become the Prajñāpāramitā, who will act with the Prajñāpāramitā, and who will arise from the Prajñāpāramitā, and even attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, such things are neither known nor seen. He thinks thus: "Because it abides in the realm of Dharma, the nature of Dharma, and the true limit, this is not the Prajñāpāramitā, nor is the Prajñāpāramitā here, nor will any Dharma arise from this Prajñāpāramitā." Subhūti, a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva who practices in this way is one who practices the Prajñāpāramitā. That which is called "in this way" is the sixteenth increase. These are the teachings on increase. The Steadfast Summit Union. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, thought thus: "For this Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva, there are the Perfection of Giving, the Perfection of Ethics, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Meditation, the Perfection of Wisdom, and emptiness of the internal, up to the emptiness of the essence of non-things, and the mindfulnesses, the right abandonments, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the liberations, the successive abidings in absorption, and emptiness.

Equanimity, signlessness, wishlessness, supernormal knowledges, samādhis, gateways of dhāraṇī, the ten powers of the Tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great loving-kindness, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, and while also practicing, if one subdues all sentient beings, what need is there to mention that one will manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and become a Buddha? If the minds of those sentient beings who enter into all-knowingness are well attained and their lives are well lived, what need is there to mention those who generate the mind for unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? If any sentient being generates the mind for perfect, complete enlightenment and listens to this Perfection of Wisdom, they will think, 'I should make all beings happy.' Then they will think in this way. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, took many Mandārava flowers and went to where the Blessed One was, and with those Mandārava flowers, he scattered them upon the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One. He completely scattered them. He exceedingly scattered them. Having thus completely scattered and exceedingly scattered them, he spoke these words: 'By this root of virtue, may those individuals, the followers of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, who are focused on unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, completely perfect the qualities of the Buddhas. May the qualities of all-knowingness be completely perfected. May the qualities of self-arising be completely perfected. May the qualities of non-contamination be completely perfected.' This is to say that the qualities of the three all-knowingnesses will be unsurpassed and completely perfected. The Pinnacle of Abiding in All Sentient Beings. Blessed One, I, as an individual who is a follower of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, have correctly entered into unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, therefore, I have never given rise to even the slightest thought of turning back. Blessed One, I, as a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, have never given rise to even the slightest thought of turning back and becoming a Śrāvaka or a Pratyekabuddha.

Thus it is. Having generated faith in the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, and repeatedly making aspirations for the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, and having seen these many sufferings of samsara, one is devoted to benefiting the world, including gods, humans, and asuras. Devoted to happiness and devoted to doing good, the bodhisattva mahasattva who possesses such a mind thinks thus: If I have crossed over, but sentient beings have not crossed over, how shall I liberate them? If I am liberated, but sentient beings are not liberated, how shall I liberate them? I have exhaled, but sentient beings have not exhaled, how shall I cause them to exhale? If I have attained nirvana, but sentient beings have not attained nirvana, how shall I cause them to attain nirvana? Thinking thus, it is called never abandoning the meaning of sentient beings, it is said to be definitely relying on it. Vision Path Peak Practice. World Honored One, thus, we rejoice in the mind generation of the bodhisattva mahasattvas who have newly entered the vehicle. And we rejoice in the mind generation of the bodhisattva mahasattvas who have been practicing for a long time. And we rejoice in the mind generation of the non-retreating bodhisattva mahasattvas. And we rejoice in the mind generation of the bodhisattva mahasattvas who are bound by one lifetime. If we rejoice, how much will the merit of that son or daughter of good family increase? Thus they asked. The World Honored One said to Indra, the Lord of the Gods, thus: Kauśika, the world of the four great continents may be measured by the measure of weighing, but the merit of the mind generation possessed by those who rejoice is immeasurable. Kauśika, the thousand worlds, the two thousand worlds, and the three thousand great thousand worlds may be measured by the measure of weighing, but the mind generation possessed by those who rejoice
