Practicing truth and meditation, as well as immeasurable and formless absorptions, as well as liberation and gradual abiding absorptions, as well as the doors of liberation: emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, as well as supernormal knowledges and samadhi, and the doors of dharani. The ten powers of the Tathagata, as well as the four fearlessnesses, as well as the four individual perfect knowledges, as well as great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are all practiced. By means of undeteriorating conduct, the path to enlightenment is generated. Abiding in the samadhi that possesses the wheel of the limbs of enlightenment, which is like a vajra, and manifestly awakening to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha. After manifestly awakening and becoming a Buddha, benefiting sentient beings. After benefiting, in any case, do not later regret it, and thus benefit without falling into the cycle of the five lineages. Question: Blessed One, what is this? Blessed One, after manifestly awakening to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, do you still see the cycle of the five lineages? The Blessed One replied: Subhuti, no. Question: Blessed One, what is this? Does the Tathagata observe black dharmas, or white dharmas, or non-black dharmas, or non-white dharmas? The Blessed One replied: No. Question: Blessed One, if you do not observe in this way, then how do you establish sentient beings in hell, or in the birth place of animals, or in the realm of Yama? How do you establish them among gods and humans? How do you establish stream-enterers and once-returners, as well as non-returners and arhats, and solitary Buddhas? How do you establish Bodhisattvas and Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly complete Buddhas? The Blessed One replied: Subhuti, do these sentient beings know that dharmas are empty of their own nature? He replied: No, Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, if these sentient beings know that dharmas are empty of their own nature in this way, then the Bodhisattva Mahasattva also

They do not enter; if they do not enter into the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, beings also cannot be liberated from the three lower realms and the streams of cyclic existence. Raabjor, those beings do not understand that phenomena are empty of their own characteristics, and because they do not understand, they cannot be completely liberated from the cycle of the five realms. Therefore, bodhisattvas, great beings, having seen from those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, that all phenomena are empty of their own characteristics, enter into the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment for the sake of beings. These phenomena are not as they are manifestly clung to by childish ordinary people. Those who consider existence in phenomena that are nonexistent and untrue, perceiving beings where there are no beings, perceiving form where there is no form, and perceiving feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness where there is no consciousness. They perceive sense bases where there are no sense bases, perceive elements where there are no elements, perceive dependent origination where there is no dependent origination, perceive worldly phenomena where there are no worldly phenomena, perceive transcendental phenomena where there are no transcendental phenomena, perceive defiled phenomena where there are no defiled phenomena, perceive undefiled phenomena where there are no undefiled phenomena, perceive conditioned phenomena where there are no conditioned phenomena, and perceive unconditioned phenomena where there are no unconditioned phenomena. Thus, those who possess minds transformed by non-veridical inversions, performing actions of body, speech, and mind, cannot be completely liberated from the cycle of the five realms. Therefore, bodhisattvas, great beings, having gathered all virtuous phenomena through the perfection of wisdom, practice the conduct of a bodhisattva and manifestly awaken to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. Having manifestly awakened to Buddhahood, completely liberating beings from the cycle of the five realms, this is called the joyful activity upon the unfailing connection of actions and their results.
