It is an evil place. The consciousness of the form realm and the formless realm is an evil place. Wholesome consciousness and unwholesome consciousness, worldly consciousness and transcendental consciousness, contaminated consciousness and uncontaminated consciousness, conditioned consciousness and unconditioned consciousness are evil places. Subhuti, these are the evil places of the body of a Bodhisattva. The evil places of speech and the evil places of mind, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he completely abandons all these evil places and completely gives himself away. Furthermore, he also correctly exhorts others to give. He completely gives food to those who want food. He gives drink to those who want drink. He completely gives clothes to those who want clothes. To those who want any human necessities and utensils, he completely gives those things.

May all sentient beings, merely by thinking, completely obtain pleasing forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations, and generate such a mind. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he should think thus: 'I myself also abide in the first dhyana. May all sentient beings also abide in the first dhyana. I myself also abide in the second dhyana, the third dhyana, and the fourth dhyana. May all sentient beings also abide in the fourth dhyana. I myself also abide in loving-kindness. May all sentient beings also abide in loving-kindness. I myself also abide in compassion, joy, and equanimity. May all sentient beings also abide in equanimity. I myself also abide in the sphere of infinite space. May all sentient beings also abide in the sphere of infinite space. I myself also abide in the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, and the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. May all sentient beings also abide in the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. I myself should cultivate the four mindfulnesses. May all sentient beings also abide in the four mindfulnesses. I myself should cultivate the four right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. May all sentient beings also abide in the eightfold noble path. I myself should cultivate the doors of liberation: emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. May all sentient beings also abide in the doors of liberation: emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness.' When he thinks thus, he should think: 'By this root of virtue, may I attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and in the Buddha-field where I attain Buddhahood, may all sentient beings never be separated from the four dhyanas, never be separated from the four immeasurables, never be separated from the four formless absorptions, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment.'
