I do not disturb emptiness, and emptiness does not disturb dependent arising. The perfections and all emptiness, and the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, also do not disturb emptiness, and emptiness does not disturb the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. The noble truths and meditation, and the immeasurables and the formless absorptions, and the liberations, and the gradual abiding absorptions, and emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, and clairvoyance and samadhi, and the doors of dharani, also do not disturb emptiness, and emptiness does not disturb the doors of dharani. The ten powers of the Tathagata and the four fearlessnesses, and the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, also do not disturb emptiness, and emptiness does not disturb the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. The fruit of stream-enterer and the fruit of once-returner, and the fruit of non-returner and the state of Arhat, and solitary enlightenment and unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, also do not disturb emptiness, and emptiness does not disturb unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Why is that? Because for them, like this, this is form, this is emptiness. This is feeling and perception, and the formations and consciousness, this is emptiness. Even up to this is unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, this is emptiness, such a nature of disturbance does not exist. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, if all dharmas are without distinction, then why would a Bodhisattva Mahasattva think, 'I shall enter into unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment and realize enlightenment'? Blessed One, enlightenment is without distinction, and because it is without distinction,

cannot fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. Enlightenment is non-dual; there is no enlightenment for those who engage in duality. Subhuti, enlightenment is non-dual, and because it cannot be made dual, the enlightenment of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is enlightenment. One does not engage in duality by calling it a Bodhisattva. The enlightenment of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not engage with form. It does not engage with feeling, perception, formation, or consciousness. It does not engage with the sense bases, the elements, or dependent origination. It does not engage with the perfections, all emptiness, or the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. It does not engage with the noble truths, meditative stabilizations, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberations, the successive abidings of meditative stabilization, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, samadhi, or the gateways of dharani. It does not engage with the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical understandings, great love, great compassion, or the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Why is that? Enlightenment is without self or what belongs to self. Should I engage with form as myself? Or is form mine? Should I engage with feeling, perception, formation, or consciousness as myself? Or is consciousness mine? Should I engage with the sense bases, the elements, or dependent origination as myself? Or is dependent origination mine? Should I engage with the perfections, all emptiness, or the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment as myself? Or are the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment mine? Should I engage with the noble truths, meditative stabilizations, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberations, the successive abidings of meditative stabilization, or emptiness as myself?
