Grounds, or samādhis, or gates of dhāraṇīs, or powers of the Thus-Gone One, or fearlessnesses, or individual correct knowledges, or great loving-kindness, and great compassion, and strive for the unmixed qualities of the Buddha. Sons of good family, realize all these dharmas without obstruction through emptiness. There is no dejection or shrinking back from unobstructed dharmas. Thus, Subhūti, when a bodhisattva mahāsattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, through skillful means, he truly teaches beings the emptiness of intrinsic emptiness. He truly exhorts, truly praises, truly gladdens, tames, disciplines, and thoroughly establishes. By no means abiding in duality, he thoroughly establishes in that way. Why is that? Intrinsic emptiness is non-dual, it cannot be made into two. A non-dual dharma does not abide in anything. Furthermore, Subhūti, when a bodhisattva mahāsattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, through skillful means, he encourages beings to cultivate the diligence of intrinsic emptiness, and then teaches them: Come, son of good family, generosity, or morality, or patience, or diligence, or meditation, or wisdom, or inner emptiness, or up to the emptiness of the essence of non-things, or the mindfulnesses, or the correct abandonments, or the miraculous feet, or the faculties, or the powers, or the limbs of enlightenment, or the eightfold noble path, or the noble truths, or the meditations, or the immeasurables, or the formless absorptions, or the liberations, or the successive abidings of absorption, or emptiness, and signlessness, and wishlessness, and the superknowledges, or the samādhis, or the gates of dhāraṇīs, or the powers of the Thus-Gone One, or the fearlessnesses, or the individual correct knowledges, or great loving-kindness, or great compassion, or strive for those unmixed qualities of the Buddha, and these dharmas.

Also, do not fixate on duality, and do not fixate on non-duality. Why is that? Because those dharmas are empty of inherent existence. Emptiness of inherent existence is not something to be fixated on as duality, nor is it something to be fixated on as non-duality. Subhuti, in this way, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, through skillful means, they fully ripen sentient beings in the emptiness of inherent existence. Having fully ripened them, they gradually establish them in the fruit of Stream-enterer, the fruit of Once-returner, the fruit of Non-returner, the state of Arhat, and in their own enlightenment. They establish them in the knowledge of the aspects of the path and in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, through skillful means, they admonish and instruct sentient beings whose minds are distracted, saying: "Come, son of good family, meditate on samadhi! Do not think of distraction, and do not think of samadhi. Why is that? Because those dharmas are empty of inherent existence. In the emptiness of inherent existence, there is no object of focus for either distraction or one-pointedness. If you abide in that samadhi and engage in the emptiness of inherent existence, whatever virtuous deeds you do with body, speech, and mind, whether it be giving, keeping moral discipline, practicing patience, exerting effort, cultivating meditation, or cultivating wisdom, whether you engage in inner emptiness, or whether you engage in the emptiness of the essence of non-things, whether you engage in the mindfulnesses, the perfect abandonments, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, or the noble eightfold path, whether you engage in the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the superknowledges, and

Or, does he practice the gates of dharani? Does he practice the ten powers of the Thus-gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, great compassion, great joy, great equanimity, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha? Does he practice the thirty-two marks of a great being? Does he practice the eighty minor marks? Does he practice the path of a Hearer and the path of a Solitary Buddha? Does he practice the path of a Bodhisattva and the path of a Buddha? Does he practice the fruit of Stream-enterer, the fruit of Once-returner, the fruit of Non-returner, the state of an Arhat, and Solitary Awakening? Does he practice up to the state of omniscience? Does he practice maturing sentient beings? Or, does he practice purifying Buddhafields? Thus, these virtuous dharmas will be accomplished with little effort. He should choose and teach accordingly. Well said, well said, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom in this way, he benefits sentient beings with skillful means. From the arising of the first thought of enlightenment until he attains enlightenment, he will never cease to do good, but will seek all virtuous dharmas and benefit sentient beings. Moreover, he constantly and continuously serves the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and goes from one Buddhafield to another. The dharma he obtains from those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, will never be wasted, even if he changes lifetimes until he attains unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. He constantly and continuously obtains dharani, and the faculties of his body, speech, and mind do not deteriorate. Why is that? Because the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva constantly and continuously cultivates omniscience, therefore all paths will be cultivated diligently. Whether it is the path of a Hearer, the path of a Solitary Buddha, the path of a Bodhisattva, or the path of a Buddha, it will be cultivated diligently. Whatever superknowledges a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva
